When you home school your kids can't get away from it either. My daughter is 20 and I still turn everything into a lesson. The trick is for them to not always be aware that is is a lesson.

I was home schooled from 1st to 3rd grade. I have a mental disability where I can not properly solve mathematical equations and I can't do simple problems in my head. I think that it's because my mom SUCKED at teaching, for those 3 years I didn't learn a thing. home schooling is great, my sister did her whole life and she is very well off..but she went to classes at a school twice a week the entire time. I think that I have this problem because I was not taught math correctly at a young age - where you NEED a good teacher. my mom wasn't cutting it and now I have to work 10x harder then a regular person because I'm retarded when it comes to math. my sister on the other hand, taught herself and also went to classes. she was home schooled from 7th to 12th grade and is doing very well.

For one how old are u bro?? For 2 if ur ova 18 and its ur house as u say then tell them that u smoke weed.. Its not a big deal.. If they start going on that its gateway drug and all this other crap.. i exploded i literally exploded i took him and blasted him 10 ft into a wall, he started coughing up blood but i was too mad to care i think the guy can't smell anymore, so they sent cops and i learned kickboxing they didn't know this cuz if u know a fighting art u gotta get registered they count as weapons so i kicked the guy in the throat 3 cops later they sent 5 more and i got rased and pulled out a gunpoint i was expelled of course and charged as an adult i spent 6 months in the pen and started reading so as soon as i got out i too online classes and graduated with honors now i'm in college while workin as a bank clerk

Then he told me he smoked and I told him I already knew that. He was freaking out wanting to know how I knew and I said "I've been telling you your whole life that I know everything you do, you wanna believe me now".

With my daughter it was easier. Her and a friend came in and I just said "you guys are high" She could never lie to me so she admitted and then I asked if their weed was better than mine. We ended up doing bongs together.

I think it brings the family closer together.

My parents would bust me when I was in high school, so they have known since the beginning. I remember the first time, It was 4/20 and I came home and my mom immediately asked if I was high. I have a tough time lying to her so I just said yes. Kinda devastating at 16. I've had plenty of talks the next couple years, whenever I was clumsy with a pipe and left it in a shitty spot.

I've NEVER once in my life been able to open up to my parents about a damn thing. I've never felt comfortable telling them the truth because I don't feel comfortable around them at all. especially my father. I feel disconnected at home..I wish my parents we're more like you, I mean, not because you smoke with your kids. but you accepted that they smoked and they don't feel the need to lie. I'll never have that type of relationship with my mom and dad.

I am good with children and love animals, I'm going to be a good father. I had a really hard life at home and I don't want anyone feeling the way that I did while I was growing up. thinking about it make's me pretty emotional...I'll never let my kids feel that way.
