What's the best all organic base potting soil mix?

Roots organics have decent mixes. I use the original and 707.

I'm definitely willing to not pay for GWS again, but I am not gonna use the extreme mykos again, it's just not as good. If I can find another type of mykos that has numerious species I would be interested, but using a single type of bacteria isn't going to work as good as a mix of different species.
its the same reason why myco should never be in a AACT either
because it's foodstock to those hungry ass trichodermas, and all the myriad of other microbes..those microbes are hungry.
And endo myco is easy pickens

because my friend... it's the ONLY one that those smart biologists have said that works.
hers a copy and paste from good ol wiki

In numerous scientific studies G. intraradices has been shown to increase phosphorus uptake in multiple plants as well as improve soil aggregation due to hyphae.[13]

Because of these qualities, G. intraradices is commonly found in mycorrhizal based fertilizers.

In a recent study, G. intraradices was found to be the only arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi that was able to control nutrient uptake amounts by individual hyphae depending on differing phosphorus levels in the surrounding soil.[9]
I thought extreme Azos helped with nitrogen and extreme mykos did the phosphorus and that's why you use the azos first then the mykos on first transplant.

heh... yeaa
a gimmick
those don't work unless you are growing legumes, or angiosperms, depending on the specie of diazotroph..
:wall:
well
not effectively anyways..
and since nitrogen uptake isn't predicated on microbial life I wouldn't bother with it

I might just stop using this stuff, I forgot half the time to apply it when I am transplanting and I haven't noticed a difference or I might just use the mykos again because its so cheap, once I run out of GWS I'm not buying it again for sure.

hmmm...
well I don't know if i'd do that man... remember you can uptake phosphorus in varying degrees, and under normal circumstances it's not a noticeable thing as a deficiency unless its REAL deficient.. reason I say that is your nugs will look normal and healthy, but may simply be smaller
according to the botany and horticulture books I've read (quite a few) its responsible for as much as 80% of the phosphorus uptake.
that's a lot..
I also have noticed more dense rootballs when I use myco, I've ran out multiple times and I still transplant without.
I haven't done a side-by-side (too busy pheno-hunting Bodhi and Dynasty genetics)
I may, just for the hell of it, but I tend to believe the scientists... only because its NOT something a cannabis-nutrient company has manifested
also a good amount of science behind it too
the bag is so cheap, I figure why not.
one of the only things I add
that and pro-tekt are the two things I have to keep buying

I don't know anything about any other products they have minus the myco
let me see what the hell azos is
probably a gimmick...
they are making BILLIONS of dollars on the new industry...

I don't know, I've had great results feeding only Azos in veg.

i'm sure you do man
I just said it's not needed.
People have great results using all sorts of different techniques.
Keep doing it if it works for you

So, you're saying the Trichoderma in this is going to eat up all the benefits of the endo innoculant?
essentially yes, and even more so in a tea.
using that in a tea will probably do almost NOTHING in regards to propagating endo mychorrizhae
adding microbial life?
sure
but if you are using that product in an attempt to propagate myco it's not an efficient way to do that

Gotchya. It's an instant tea that isn't bubbled, not sure that it makes that big of a difference. Reading up on that thread now...

love ya man, so i'll help ya out. (i'm not a know-it-all, just know a lil about myco)
extre myco is all the myco you need, plus it's the correct type of myco
the GWS is vastly overpriced, WAY more of the totally useless myco, AND they include other microbes and worst of all trichoderma (at HUGE populations)
they have WAY more ecto mychorrizhae (useless) than the beneficial types, and then they add a metric fuck-ton of trichodermas too (which are not bad, but VERY bad for your myco population)
if you get into the actual science behind it man, you'll see what I mean.
an analogy would be like this.
Pretend you are feeding a village in Africa
you make a helicopter drop 100 cows to feed them, but then at the same exact time you are dropping 12,000 hungry lions at the same time...
you think the village is EVER gonna see those cows??
nope..
trichodermas are insanely voracious, and they eat myco like mad
actually myco is readily consumed by almost all your microbes

I have switched to AZOS made by same company just has even more goodies than the regular myco and still just sprinkle at transplant
