Mom missed a bunch of premium payments last year so the termed her from Medicare. So after work I heleped my mom fill out her medicare application. I type in her info and bang questions to verify identity. All the questions that came up she or I didnt have any answers for, and Ive ben taking care of her for close to 10 years now, I know everything there is to know. So from the questions apparently she has a mortgage, a car payment, and a department store card . She has none of the above. The question after it asked what bank she had her mortgage out of was how much is your mortgage payment for this property, so that verifys they still live there right? OLut of curiousity I tried to run a credit report, and same questions almost but just a little different. Already called the PD, going tomorrow and now I dont know what to do. Help me out my friends. What happens to my mom and these debts if and when they catch this dirtbag preying on the eldery? There must be a physical address for this house right? Im worried for us.

The bank or whoever gave them credit is the one who is stuck for it. Notice she wasn't getting any bills?

It means she isn't going to have to pay for the banks negligence in extending credit.
One of the questions was what is the monthly mortgage payment of this property? Would that be a 100% that they still own the house and are paying for it?

Not sure what that means. Does your Mom need a good credit score?

About the other "debts" - any communications from the supposed creditors?

Just send a simple letter to each creditor telling them you dispute those debts in their entirety. From there, it's on them to provide proof of the debt.

She got terminated from medicare because she forgot to pay the premiums. Nothing from creditors and I cant find out where these loans came out of cause I cant access her credit report cause they are asking questions that pertain to the identity thiefs life and we cant answer the questions so we cant access anything.

You need more info on just what all is exactly out there. Then, you'll probably have to address them one by one.

When you apply for medicare in order to identify you they ask you a series of questions about your life only you would know. Its a thorough questionare but we couldnt answer the first page because its all news to us.

Is it secret service or homeland security or FBI that handles telephonic fraud these days?
