Quest of the newbie Grower

Great grow! i actually just ordered the 4pack from go green LED. its four 200w 4cob panels, for a total of 16cobs and 800w in a 4x4 with 6 plants, they're getting here by the end of the week hopefully and we get to flip to flower. Im excited to see how your plants like the lights because i was hesitant in picking a cob led manufacturer.
so far I like the lights and plants seem to as well. the temp is crazy low and still need to have a heater with the lights running I live way up north the only complaint I had about lights was they can do a better job cleaning them before assembly and shipping as soon as I got mine I found a bunch of metal shavings in about 5 out of 12 lenses contacted ggled he told me to take it apart and by a can of air to blow it out but when I pay 1000+$ for lights I don't want to repair/clean them as soon as I get them but I had a grow going and got rid of my 600w hid soon after led order so I was kinda stuck with em

really? thats concerning considering i paid $1600+ for the lights they better not show up with metal shavings in them! but other than that do they seem to put out the power they claim?

also you should try building a trellis or "scrog net" if you're going to put 6 plants in there, you can use it to best evenly spread your lights to make best use of your space. i managed to use the scrog method pretty successfully with some great results! i had a cheapy mars 600 panel with 2 plants in 3gal pots in a 2ftx2.5ft net, pulled 105g dry, which isnt too bad considering the small space and weak light i had. with those beast cobs you got you could pull some serious yield!

I'm still running 50% so cant really give honest opinion on power yet seem to get ok coverage but almost wish I went with the 4 200wats instead

and yes I will be running a scrog actually gonna try the ones from scrogco.com

you can change what they run at yourself? are you talking about the two switches? i would just run it at full power all the way through veg because the color spectrum doesn't change just the power, but regardless cant wait to see them in action!

are you going hydro? if youre growing in soil you dont need a frame connected to your bucket, just build a frame the size of your tent with some PVC or 2x4's. its really inexpensive and you can get the exact size you need!

well that's it I will never touch fox farm soil again all plants showing signs of nute burn and iev yet to add any nutes the only one not yellowing out is the WW seems to be holding up good in hot soil but the rest are spotting badly have a sour D that's almost 2 weeks its also burnt what a pain in the ass well I'm gonna ride it till the wheels fall off I guess but wish I would have done more research before hand as this was one of the first products I bought lesson learned for sure

on another note I will be doing a run in coco the good people at California substrate hooked me up with about 10 gal of coco so gonna give that a go in a few weeks will also be doing a quick review of coco for anyone who is interested or maybe wanting to switch from soil

i would start feeding nutes, but it depends on the type of nutes you have, Kyle Kushman's line says to start feeding from seedling!

ya with FF I'ev been told to hold off as it has nutes in it but defiantly getting close to the time to use them I think also being an autoflower it does not use as much nutrition at least that's what I'm being told I will for sure start slow at 1/4 or 1/2 recommended dose then move up
