Anyone ordered from Substrate Genetics?

I posted this to let everyone know what I knew and because I couldn't find info anywhere else.

This is just what I know for a fact. But who knows, this could all just be a big misunderstanding. I'm not purposely accusing anyone of anything, this is just what happened to me and someone else.

I made an order with them right before the site went down. So I am pretty ticked off as well.

Yesterday:

After all of this (the site going down completely, etc.), I received a message from another Member here (in response to the OP on other forum) that included a few photos. This person wants to remain anonymous, and I am going to respect their privacy due to the nature of all this.

This Member had made an order and went back an hour later to make another order (after forgetting something else they wanted). This Member found the site in the same condition as I found it (in the OP from the other forum- basically showing the site being down and the errors received when trying to go to the Substrate Genetics website).

This Memeber contacted Substrate Genetics directly via SMS/Text Message to see what was going on.

Here are the screenshots I received from this Member:

The phone numbers displayed in these screenshots are not private. They are publicly displayed and accessible all over the internet as the main contact phone number for Substrate Genetics. They are not violating anyone's private information.

I don't know if it's just me, but this seemed odd. I have exchanged many emails with the owner in the past and I have never received an email with replies like this. I don't know how to explain what I mean. Do you get what I'm saying? It just doesn't seem anything like him. He writes in a different way. But then again, it could be him and this Member and I are both just tripping.

I haven't tried to contact Substrate Genetics yet (via Phone/SMS/Text Message), but thought about doing it yesterday (until I received these screenshots).

I have sent Substrate Genetics (SubstrateGenetics / www.SubstrateGenetics.com) many emails with no replies, but that's it.

They have my money, and I don't know what to do now...

That's super fucking sketch. I'll never order from an American Seedbank again, too much drama paired with people getting hacked/busted/changing servers or whatever..

Well I'm really glad I returned those beans to them and included the receipt with all my info on it ..... Not

this is what made question the validity and make the thread in the first place.seeing as you sent a slip of paper with all your info back to the guy, You should keep us updated on your experiences.

I havent had mine too..sent about 300 for my gears. Now im worried...never got any notifications or tracking # after payment through paypal

My first order (back in January) with them got screwed up.

They sent me two pins (these promo pins that said USA or America or something on them) and no seeds.

Rooty told me that they just fired one of their packer/handler guys for screwing too many things up.

They sent out a rellacy pack, plus 2 free packs of Greenpoint Seeds (2x Packs of PBOG Hybrids that they sold on their site for $50 each).

I was pretty stoked on them making it up to me. So I waited until I got paid last week to make a good-sized order.

I ordered 7 Packs of seeds from them totalling $550+.

Money was taken out of my account and everything.

Never received a receipt or confirmation email.

I try yo support US products and business even though im not located in the US anymore, ive heard enough shit going on wd substrate from here and on IG, i can get back 300 dollars and focus on what i do. But damn 500 will hurt the pocket. Im sorry to hear that. I wouldnt rely much on IG anymore. For more than 5 yrs of buying seeds this myt be yhe first time ill be screw

Attitude is a different story, they have shareholders, it's not one guy operating the whole thing. I should've never gone through any of what I did. Wish I still had the emails... Piece of shit company..

You didn't answer my question, how do you know your order got him "busted?"

He's not changing his story either, he's moving servers because green line was going to report him, that simple. That would've gotten his site shut down off his server.. so he's gotta jump ship and move, moving takes time.

I'm not saying he's handling it perfectly..When I dealt with the company I got my orders in 2 days and the guy responded back to me within an hour of every email I sent him. Best customer service I've personally ever had. I'm just saying you don't need to go making shit up saying he got busted and yadayadayada when you simply don't know what you're talking about..

It's obvious that your harboring a lot of anxiety over this.

Moving a server takes less than 4 hours. Usually between 1-2

Greetings farmer's I'm not associated with subtract genetics. I came across this post. A while back there was a post on IG letting everyone know that someone had hacked their phone number an email. To place an order would be be to just call or dm them on IG. Now. I too have attempted to look on their website and ran into the same issue. I think if there is an issue, people should just dm them on IG .

I dmed to know avail. Posted on hes ig also asking inhouse what happened to substraye. None answered

yup the good ol UK banks, ive heard some issues with a few lately but all in all ive consistently bought from them for more than 15yrs, im still with trying new banks in the US, but if any funny business like with substrate i wont go back to that individual bank

Seems like in house and substrate might be really close... When Tdt went down earlier in year in house promoted them pretty hard...just saying ..I'd be looking for them to rebrand soon and I'd bet in house will promote there "new bank"

Interesting twist tho...got my returned item back today unopened as it was refused...meaning the contents were never revealed...kinda relieved that that fun box was never opened or fell into the wrong hands
