I'm not talking about flushing I'm saying when to stop with nutrients
Harshness comes from over fertilization and/or a poor dry and cure.So what your basically saying to me is to give nutrients up until I chop the plants down and don't flush unless the medium is toxic. So doing it like that there will not be any harsh taste in the smoke ?????
In my extremely inexperienced opinion it could be a manganese def but you need to do a shit ton of reading to figure it out really cos I'm no expert and once you start looking into it you may find you have other symptoms too that point to something else. I can't be arsed looking back through to see if you mentioned your pH but it could be that it's too high. Or someone who knows what they're taling about might be able to help you with it. But I'd still do the readingOK thanks guys now I understand. You mind taking a look at these pics got some real strange spotting appearing
Can't see the whole plant, Hows the new growth look at the top.OK thanks guys now I understand. You mind taking a look at these pics got some real strange spotting appearing
I think you might have had another issue alongside your Kelp use SF.Kelp is a flower hardner. Works well but apply at a low dose, iv burnt the shot outa plants with just 5ml per gallon of kelp. Guess its strain related
When they had the humboldt flower hardener out it was kelp based. Worked great but it was too strongI think you might have had another issue alongside your Kelp use SF.
Kelp is a root enhancer and contains so many great things in it!
Many folks buy multiple supplements to gain the benefit of simply Kelp!
5ml per gallon has been my go to ratio for, well, almost ever! I should add that I never had a problem with that ratio - even for seedlings! G&H "Rapid Root" that's "so concentrated" is basically kelp with some synthetic crap added....The real work on the roots is done by the Kelp!
Yeah it most likely came from the "plastic" (synthetic) nutrients added to the Kelp. When they had the humboldt flower hardener out it was kelp based. Worked great but it was too strong
More synthetic - that's good though if it's what you choose! I wonder if any of those Amino's are derived from kelp?I use this on young seedlings. Can't build a house without a solid foundation.

This bottle is kelp and yucca extractMore synthetic - that's good though if it's what you choose! I wonder if any of those Amino's are derived from kelp?
But the Kelp contains organic amino acids.....
Kelp extract or kelp meal is a "magic" Supplement....Should be on every growers shelf!
SO many things you don't need if use kelp!
And other things.....Aurora "SOUL" is the synthetic line from Aurora.....It maybe how it's processed that removes the organic or it maybe something else they add.....This bottle is kelp and yucca extract
If it makes a difference, the owner of the hydro store always gives me free shit to try.And other things.....Aurora "SOUL" is the synthetic line from Aurora.....It maybe how it's processed that removes the organic or it maybe something else they add.....
Yup the MSDS lists L-Arginine and L-Glycine as ingr. There went the organic out the window! Still, it is based as!
I kinda find it odd to bottle a natural product and bottle it in different bottles, concentrations and listing each for a specific use....
That's why I simply use Kelp extract and pay less money for the same tool(s)....
Somehow, not sure how. I got on somebodies "tester" list.....This was like 15 or more years ago......I still get stuff from several makers and from Grow shops....."Let us know what you think" That's how I got shit to say about almost every line out there. That's also how I found some really good stuff too!If it makes a difference, the owner of the hydro store always gives me free shit to try.
This was one of them. It works well and I don't use much.
Age old kelp at 5ml a gal as soon as you start feeding. You can literally give them this from start to finish with no problems. So any specific advise on where a beginner should start with adding Kelp to the mix? Keeping in mind said beginner is as broke and ignorant as possible
Well, find the cheapest Kelp extract you can find and I have, for years, simply added 5ml to feedings! So any specific advise on where a beginner should start with adding Kelp to the mix? Keeping in mind said beginner is as broke and ignorant as possible
