Watering? Nutes? Runt plant

Hi. Are the leaves in the first 2 photos cupping due to water, nutes, or both? They are planted in FFOF that was flushed before planting, 18 inches from an air cooled 1kw hps, 18/6, moving to week 3 of veg on the 7th.. the first pic is GSC, the other GSC is fine, and the taco leave is if a GG4, also have a second one that's ok. The third plant is a purple widow that got way too hot and all of the leaves droo20160404_072347.jpg 20160404_072423.jpg ped straight down.. it's not showing much growth but there are new tips slowly trying to emerge.. I had to lollipop her up to focus only of the leaves that still looked ok.. will she grow quickly enough to catch up with 10 inch 0lants if she is only at 5 inch now? Moving to 12/12 on the 20th.. thanks!

That is heat/moisture stress temp & rh must be off
I got this 10 dollar acu-rite that can't be in direct light or near heat sources.. it's near the top of the room, registering a high of 82 with a low of 76. Rh is 33-35%... this is according to a cheap tool with bad placement

Also, I can lay my face down with the plant and it's not hot.. it's hot 4 inches from the glass but not hot down there.. also a circulating fan is blowing at the glass dispersing the heat

Way hot for that plant. Back off your light to 30", and stay there. And no, she will never catch up, unless you top the other plants, and leave her alone.

The o really temp is in the top of the grow room, not near the canopy. I would say the canopy is at 80 with lights on at the hottest
No sense in defending, we're tryin to help ! Plant is too hot, tis why the leaves are curled up. Up to you to figure out why ???

My apologies, wasn't trying to sound defensive. It's my first grow and I went 1000k, I just want to get it right. I have seen people say put air cooled 1k at 6inches, and others say put it at 6 feet.. hard to know who is right. 30 inches sounds reasonable.. how will that affect available light?

It doesn't really matter sometimes what the actual temp is at the plant, the intensity of the light on a weak plant will shock it. I have LED's with no real temperature at the plant, but the intensity will affect the weak plant negatively.
The canoeing is usually a sign of heat associated stress, I would back off the light, as most people put it way too close to the plant. I go 30" minimum, and by the way, those leaves are never going to straighten out. It is probably fucked, and if you have another seed, I would use it. Very sorry about your plight, but you have other plants at least, and that is a good reason why you always grow more than 1.

The other leaves look fine.. can't I just pull the affected leaves off? These are clones btw

Heat stress, honest dude just leave it be.get a fan moving air across the plant tops, never take a fan leaf of while ever it's green .

The only time I ever take fan leafs off a plant is when there young clones and sometimes the odd leaf will look bad yellow ,it's really due to it pulling feed from leafs while there rooting, you can get round this by adding a light feed but I like a nutrient free clone till its rooted and then I give them 0.5 for a few days then straight to 1.1 for a week ,then just keep upping the nutrients till there ready to flower.

I call what is happening to your clones canoeing leaf sides or tips curl up either side,it's either caused by 3 things normally only you will know the answer with out knowing temps and everything else .first reason more often than not it's caused by heat stress.
Second reason wind burn to much movment caused by a fan
3 plants been too dry, often misting them will help get the leaf back to health this puts moisture back into the leaf, but I would only advice this if the temps are pretty good .if the room is running hot it can cause more damage misting ,it shocks them.
But looking at it nothing really to worrie about ,it will more than likely grow out of it.

I moved the lights to 42 inches and I have a big fan circulating. I think I put them under 1000k hps too soon.. straight from weak clone keeping lights within minutes to a 1k hps 2 feet away.. fucked em up early

Also, you said you keep temps up to like 90.. do you run c02 or do your strains just need heat?
I do not run "extra" CO2 and a 90 degree canopy in a 78 degree room emulates what really happens under the sun

I believe this is my healthiest plant.. it's a purple widow.. do you think I will have to scrap the other 5 and just grow the hell out of her.. by herself, under 1? @RM3, what about the eye hortilux full spec?
