For sure, its DNAs Skywalker OGi have not grown the skywalker but the friends that have grown her have always said the smoke makes up for the way she grows
My real interest is an original SkywalkerThat Skywalker is a special girl, glad you cloned her
Was sayin it was special because it was whatever strain, she is special because of what I see which is the streaked stemMy real interest is an original Skywalker
Care to expand at all or point me towards some information about those types of things?Was sayin it was special because it was whatever strain, she is special because of what I see which is the streaked stem
From all that I have observed in my breeding program it is a genetic trait and every plant that has shown it has been fire good. However in all my research I have never found anything about such traits ???I'm glad you commented on that, I've always taken that coloring as something genetic!

Well come mid June we'll find out and I'll report back the flame report! I'll make sure to keep her aroundFrom all that I have observed in my breeding program it is a genetic trait and every plant that has shown it has been fire good. I'm running similar chips, CXB3590 3500K, but at 72V with a Meanwell HLG-185H-C700B driver. This combo also gives approximately 50W apiece, but when I dug into the details I found some interesting things;200~ at 1400ma 125 at 1050 for veg.
What do you think about me moving the light into a 3x3 now that I'm running at 100%+ power?I'm running similar chips, CXB3590 3500K, but at 72V with a Meanwell HLG-185H-C700B driver. This combo also gives approximately 50W apiece, but when I dug into the details I found some interesting things;
1. These B drivers (both yours and mine) run 8% over their rated output current when the dimming leads are simply capped off or the circuit is open. Therefore, that's 216W /4=54W per chip, which means...
2. Because the chips are driven a bit harder, there's a bit more light; 824 PPfD vs 811 PPfD over a 2'x3' area, the approximate area I'm lighting with one of my modules.
3. Driver efficiency is said to be 96%, or 4W/100W driven, that's an extra 8W.
4. My Kill-a-watt said my units draw 224W - 225W each, which seems to confirm the above calculations.
I still need to get a decent light meter to get some real world numbers.
I think you'll have about 2/3 the PPfD I do, which should still be just fine for good growth in bloom.What do you think about me moving the light into a 3x3 now that I'm running at 100%+ power?
For sure. If space becomes an issue I'll make the switch.I think you'll have about 2/3 the PPfD I do, which should still be just fine for good growth in bloom.
Another question about distance from canopy. Right now the light is about 10" away. Nothing appears stressed to me, but I have no idea what I'm doing. Everywhere I look everyone's light is like 16" + away. What do?I think you'll have about 2/3 the PPfD I do, which should still be just fine for good growth in bloom.
As long as they look happy and the whole canopy is lit up, keep the light right where it is. Girls are looking great tooAnother question about distance from canopy. Rip them nasty leaves off you have enough foliage its not going to phase it. and the damage is done its a waste of energy for her and its not going to absorb to much light with all the damage. And even on the real bushy one , you can go ahead and clean her up just a little and shes gonna love it. But on my skywalker I wont be growing her again no matter how good the smoke is. Shes just a pain in the ass. The kosher kush grows good. I started another seed I need to do a journal so you can check her genetics out. But man on the freebie you have to try the 24k. It might be a problem with height for some but I'm lovin it.
