Starlite LED / Flip Chip Opto - 640W - 1500+ PPFD 4 BY 4 COVERAGE @ 2 FEET FROM CANOPY

Awesome :)
Prices will be announced really soon. :) We love constructive suggestions!

Here's an unblemished version of the underside to show how clean it's going to be:

What's the benefit to having the COBs right next to each other?

This is our PPFD data for our 320W Fixture @ 1 FT from canopy

Graph is in METERS not FEET, and again, we understand our optical and coverage issue, and we are half way designing an optical lens that will decrease fall off rate on the edges.

Go ahead and multiple this by 2 for a general idea of how it's going to perform.

Call the passive one "The Passive Fist" (and use the yin-yang shaped Duet!)

Call the active one "The Active Fist"

If you use those names, I'll only charge you one fixture (each)!

You saw it here, first!

:)

That's some pro-looking stuff, Alex!

How much does that fixture weigh?

I can't wait to see what you guys are dialing in for the lens-things! Any idea when it will all be ready for market? Month? Year?

They are doing exactly what I told them they needed. The lenses in the graph are for there standard lighting. The new lenses with be designed to give even coverage from around 2'. No other lenses are be designed this way yet, as far as I have seen. We are all using lenses and reflectors meant for 8' and higher. This is just my opinion.

sorry alex, but your coverage sucks. big center hotspot and that's all she wrote.

I completely agree. Although those graphs currently use general lighting optics.
Just wait till we're done with our new optics, an optical lens that sits on top of the COB with individual lasered "stations" that sit directly on top of each die. It's possible to even laser each "station" so that it gives a different angle. It's in the works..

ok cool, love to see the coverage with your custom designed lenses.

btw does anybody really want to hang lights 8' from the canopy ? 2-3 feet makes sense to me but 8 ?

Hey, PurpleBuz, I am running the Luna 300 @ 250 watts each and I can get it as low as 18" on some strains. No lenses, just reflector.

Hey tstick,

I'm not exactly sure how much they weight yet, but the active will be int he range of 15 lbs. The passive will weight significantly higher though.

We will start selling these at HEMPCON, and pricing will be up the following week.
