My zip toggle pulled off too!!! . Yea i know what you mean by the waste but i actually didn't want to buy a budbox this big to start with. It's just that they price it so well that you have no choice . You think "Dude, £10 more and i get this much space. Awsome" and then you realize that it takes over most of your room lol. lol i just put a cable tie through the little bit of zip toggle thats left, works better than the original! actually three of mine has come off to date, the main front one and the top and bottom side zips on the right. Well at least you have the space should you ever wanna expand your grow. here you go theyre not to date pics but my lights are off now so i cant take any right now, i have got a budbox small for veg but i dont use it coz iv got nowhere for it to go at the mo, this is my cold water storage tank cupboard with the lights mounted under the tank, its big enough to get 5 plants up to two feet before they go into 12/12 in the budbox. i did have two blue enviros one in a reflector one hanging but i smashed the hanging one and had to replace it with my spare red one i had until i get down to growell and get another blue.

I don't get how you have managed to get the enviro so close because when i tried it that close (6-10 inches) it started to burn the top folige. Maybe coz it was mid-summer. Right now it's around 7-8 inches but still when i put my hand at the canopy, i can feel a lil bit of heat...

Can you not put the small box inside the XL? and is that 125Watt bulb? Lastly, do you not transplant because those pots look quite big... Plants look good and bushy. What strain?

i can get them much closer than that, when i took that pic i raised the light so the enviros can be seen, they normally stay around two inches away, have you got any extraction in your tent? yea theyre both 125w eco-lites.
if i put the small bud box inside the xl id have no room to flower anything, the small is 750x750x1000mm. yea i germinate in jiffy pellets or root riots, then into 1ltr pots, when theyve rooted out the 1ltr pots they go into the 4ltr pots(in pics), then into 10ltr pots 2-3wks before 12/12, that way i dont need to feed during veg at all, they get fed by the pot ups into fresh soil. strains, the two on the right are ghs nl#5 x haze mist, theyre now 28" tall and have been been under 12/12 for 2days now in the budbox, the three on the left are big buddha cheese and theyre still in the veg room and are now approaching two feet tall.

Nice setup. What do you do for heat problems? What wattage bulb and what lighting setup?

I have a 1000 wts with a vented hood I have my carbon filter hooked so that it blows threw the light and out the tent, I have one flap open at night with a fan box fan and a small fan above blowing..It stays around 79 to 82 when its on!

if your ecolites get that hot to the touch they may be faulty, id take them back, i keep mine a couple of inches away can hold them no probs, see..... yea the kitchen extractor will be doing next to nothing in a budbox xl, my 5"rvk fan in my budbox xl pulls 240 cubic metres per hour, and its fine to keep the cooltube lukewarm to the touch, extract air from the room and keeps loads of fresh air drawn in through the budbox`s passive vents, all keeping temps at around 26*c. no i dont have a cocktail of strains lol my church in the budbox are on their last week or two, the nl5 x haze and the cheeses in veg are to go in there when the church is done, i like something different from each harvest so i grow different strains each time around, i soon get tired of smoking the same weed after a month or so, otherwise id just keep a couple of mothers and constantly grow clones of the same strains.

confused? what do you use a 400 or a 1000? the pic of your set up dont look nowhere near bright enough for a 1000?

I was so able to do that wat you're doing for like 2 weeks and then it started getting warmer. Do you think growell will refund after 2 months. They have it for 30 days, idk about 2 months tho.

So the RVK really help. I was thinking of investing in them as well coz i really want to keep my tent shut at all times unless i wana water and shit. It's a bit dodgy coz a guest can't come around and stay over coz i have them on at night and stuff. Damn! I wish i had more money lol. But all i need is an extraction system and a HPS system and then i'm sorted lmao.

just take them to the growell you bought them from and explain that they are getting really hot and you dont think its right as theyre not supposed to get that hot, to be truthfull i dont know what the fault could be thats making them get too hot, but it dont sound right to me, theyre pretty good down at growell when it comes this kinda thing, and iv found theyre customer service to be pretty good so it shouldnt be a prob, if they really wont replace it maybe buy another bulb to see if it gets just as hot? yea an rvk 5" extractor fan will help alot too youl be able to zip up the tent then(dont pull them toggles too hard) and dont forget a carbon filter if you have visitors coming regularly, iv just had to replace my filter cos the old one couldnt hack the smell of my ripening church fems anymore and my place was stinking of skunk! favourite strain? gotta be true uk cheese, not what im growing now, thats not real cheese, havnt had the pleasure of growing it as yet im waiting on some clones to come up that someone has promised me, i have smoked real cheese quite a bit and its out of this world, it is the most pungent dankest shit ever, when my man used to come round to mine with it, id smell it walking up the hallway to answer the door to him! no shit, and thats with it wrapped in loads of cling film and in zipbags in his pocket! when id open the door to him it was like opening the door on my budbox!!

Dank lol gotta love that word. I'll have to see what i can do coz i got it via delivery so even if i wana return it, i'll have to pay for it. Wish i was a londoner as well coz you got a growell there. I have only this other shop near mine called "Holland Hydroponics". Idk what i'll do. Even if i do return it then my plants will suffer coz they near ending their flowering. Maybe i should wait and see how they perform i mean, i got way more bud on the plants than i thought i would. Yesterday, i touched one of the buds and it was sticky... OHHH it was a sweet feeling lol.
I definitely need extraction though, i know that much. The only thing is that if i get a 5" then the ducting and the carbon filter price goes up . Maybe for this one i might get the ONA Gel coz i've heard it does work and then save up some money before starting the next grow.

guess your in a bit of a pickle then, yea just finish your current grow and decide what to do then, you got any piccies of your current grow? shame your not any closer to me ive got a few bits n pieces spare i been wanting to sell off cheap, got a spare 250w mh/hps ballast only used for two crops, 250w powerplant hps bulb unused, loads of 5" ducting, a couple duct clips for securing the duct to the fan and filter, a used 5" carbon filter but itl still work for a bit, woulda given you that, when you got a few good sized plants in full flower believe me youl need some sort of filtration. could have set you up a bit, all youd need to get is the 5" fan and a hid reflector!

Fuck! that would have been good. I have enough money for a ventilation/filteration system but i'm going to still wait. Have you ever tried Ona Gel for odour removal? How cum u not using all that stuff that you wana sell?
