I apologize if this is a stupid question but from looking over that thread and googling those parts it seems like the light portion of your set up is only costing a few hundred bucks? Is that really everything needed to make your own? Those LEDS also look a lot like ones used in the go green ones. Since I am doing a 5x5, should I triple your order if I go that route? It's early and I'm halfway through a king size raw of some headband so please excuse myself if these are dumb questions. Going to take down the rest of the suggested threads today with notes. Thanks again everyone for the help. Almost there.

I tried to keep it cheap as I could, but DIY led is probably gonna be your best option and give the best results. There are many different combinations of cobs and drivers. You could go with like 8-12 cxb3590, or like 12 vero 29. Just make sure you have the right drivers picked out for how many cobs (chips on board) you want to run.

Here's something you can do that might help you out.... Anytime you find a light like the plant science light...do a quick search on alibaba for led grow lights and that should give you a good idea on what a rebranded cheaply made light is and what companies are just looking to rip you off.

Hi guys! I bought the growmau5 kit with the LGSU-1400D driver. I need to buy a dimmer for it, so can anyone recommend which one and from which site? Need to have it rather quickly, otherwise i could have bought it from Ali i guess.

appreciate any and all help :)
