Hey guys been growing these ladies trying to find out if I should lower my light to make them more bushy or leave it alone. I got them under a 400 MH light rn

The fixture is about 2 feet away. i didn't start off with this fixture I had some t5s before. What should I expect from these stretched plants?

Move the 400w down to about a foot and see how the plants react. Watch for light burn: http://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-light-burn
You have good airflow so you should be fine there, then you can slowly go down from there to like 8" as long as it's not burning the plant obv.
Too hard to say, that 400w will really help a ton though. At least an oz per plant.

A 400W can go even closer than that, especially with a plant of your size. The real question is....at what height do you get the best coverage. That's where you want to be.

Those are some nice plants (breeze is a little strong for my taste but its your garden). Have you considered topping or bending them over? Take away the apical dominance and those motherfuckers would beast out on you.
