So i was thinking that maybe within the next few years when i have alot more experience, i grow a couple of females and polinate them manually to produce seeds that i can then eat since it has good nutritional value and omega 3 in it and stuff (and coz i heard that there are some gud recipies out there) ... I was wondering how long can you preserve pollen and how to properly preserve it?

Lastly, how can i polinate one female and ensuring that no other is polinated at all? thanx

Super nutritional. One of the most vitamin and protein packed things on the planet by weight. It also has a chemical that occurs nowhere in nature except for the seeds od cannabis and breast milk that actually disolves cholesterol in your body. All the pills and things we have don't disolve it they just move it. All hail the mighty Cannabis plant!

Surveyor77 beat me to my next question. Are bag seeds recommended? I just imagine germs being passed from person to person.

You're not going to get enough bagseed to make a meal out of, you'll have to pollinate a whole crop, maybe an outdoor guerilla grow. You can buy bulk hemp seed that's bird seed and has been treated so it's not viable but I don't know what they do to it, maybe they just cook it a little or maybe it's chemically neutered. If they have just cooked it a bit then that bird seed would be the way to go for your cooking needs.

Pollen is viable up to 6 months or so if kept in the dark in a fridge but better at just a month maybe two old.

If you do want to pollenate just a branch or one plant you can take it out of your grow and use a little brush to dip in the bag of pollen, brush it lightly on the female hairs and if you want just one branch then close a plastic bag over that branch.

after pollenating the plant or branch shake the tree or hit her with a fan to blow away an loose extra pollen and put her back in the room with the rest of the ladies.

Hemp seed, mj seed is amazingly good for you and good for many other uses. It is a crime that it's illegal.

Go buy a hamburger, don't eat your seeds...

They are packed with nutritional value by weight, so a handful of seeds aren't going to do a single thing for you...

You could have a hamburger with it's bread made from cannabis seed flour. I wonder what flour made from them would taste like? We are so sheltered.

thanx for the reply. very informative. One question though. I thought leaves always need fresh air or they die coz of no CO2 and stuff?

That is funny that you said this because I went to a friend of a friends' house and they had a big ol plate of em. They were all oven rosted and everything but they were pretty good. It tastes just like hemp, you know. Pretty good.

Uh, no, we don't know. At least I don't know. Nothing hemp is legal here and we haven't tasted a single hemp product in the USA ever in my lifetime.

That is unless you mean it tastes just like chewing on a raw stem of a plant I've grown.
