What is the worst grow you've seen?

The worst grow I saw was the same person who inspired me to grow.

Basically they expected to do a full grow with a single 23-Watt CFL hanging over a plant in a bucket filled with miracle-gro with a car window reflector sitting around it. He pulled it out of the soil after three weeks claiming it was a male. He wouldn't let me look at it to see the pre-flowers so I can only guess he threw it out because something went wrong.

And I'll admit...that is how I first tried. I quickly learned that's not a good way to go...but I'm sure there is far worse out there, what about you guys?

Edit: Not saying this is a terrible way to grow and I'm not endorsing shitting on people, just curious to see what grows you have seen that are WAY less than optimal.

HMMM..You have only been a member of RIU for 2 months...hang out take a look around...you will see some stuff that is UNFUCKINGBELEIVABLE!!!

People pissing on plants...growing in feces...using incandescent lighting...feeding 2 or three times full dose nutes 2 times a week...20 seedlings in one 3 gallon pot..it goes on and on. Hard to name the worst when you have seen as many travesties as I have!!!

3 weeks after planting and saying it was a male? Someone is trying to pretend he did not utterly fail.

The worst grow that I have ever seen is a smokers house with out a plant in it.

No days it's possible, to get a very tidy end result weight wise ,your very first grow.There is that much info out there now,back when I first started it was fluorescent tubes a bank of them,we used to use about 12 x 12 ft ones with about 20 plants under them ,we used to get about 8 oz per grow,but the first few was all ways seeded plants,then after a couple of grows we got into cloneing females and,sensi was born in our roomsd that is about 20 year ago or there abouts

Still to this day,I use the bank of fluorescent tubes but t,5 form,and all the vegging is done under them the big guns are only used for flowering 1200 watts of hps 2, x cool hoods.no room is a bad room in my eyes,some are rooms that need improvements,but St least there tryimg.

I've never seen their grow but this one kid on here a couple years ago had a 'closet' grow that he kept away from sunlight because someone told him too much light was bad for plants

It mystifies me the shit ppl say on here! o_O

Fins has had some gnarly looking grows but he claimed he was stressing the plants on purpose.. I'm sure that will make it on here as he's returned but unfortunately the verbal diarrhea persists

This one is bad and really stretched someone said it looks like a movie prop and I would agree:clap: but being as when I was fourteen I grew one on top of my ma's house and it turned out to be male it isn't the worst i've seen, maybe for yall since its with CFL's lol

I mean, aside from growing for medicine, it's kind of aesthetically pleasing. Like having a big, smelly bamboo plant in your living room.

wow that is some shit I cant believe that cumming on my bitches would have so many nutritional benefits know I know what ive been doing wrong all along.. lol does it have to be fresh spermies or couldI store them in the fridge?
also I was the one who was (pissing on plants) actually diluting it in a 1-4 ratio in water because it has nitrogen and potassium in it! and my plant is still very green and lush thanks very much! i'm a vegan so my urine couldn't possibly be bad for her...

awesome man you like all kinda marijane plants! -my kinda person haha it is very relaxing and suthing to come home and see the changes and smell the aromas coming from the plants I agree very pleasing I think everyone should have one in there house! ahaha then what could the government say?!

My older brother tried growing a plant a couple years back under a 150w hps he spent 300 dollars on, bought it from some guy that stole it because my brother thinks the feds will find him if he orders anything online. I'm not sure what he was doing wrong, I only ever saw the plant like 3 times, but the last time I saw it it was a 3 ft tall stem with like 4 sunleafs on it (I might be exaggerating a little, but not much). He kept pulling the sunleafs off and smoking them, which was probably one of the things he was doing wrong. He also had a coat hanger he made a circle out of and then cloth pinned aluminum foil around the plant like a little shower curtain.

My brother ended up cutting down the plant and throwing it out because his friend told him he saw cops staking out my brother's house. A week later the cops kicked in my brother's door and now he's in jail for selling heroin.
