What are the best soils to use?!

Okay, so I am on a budget and I am looking for some recommendations on soils to use. I am not creating my own as I do not have time and place. I am trying to avoid Miracle Grow soils as they are loaded with time released nutrients and salts that just make the buds taste and smell nasty (learned that from personal experience a few years ago). I am planning on doing about 20 plants outdoors this year and I need something that is basic but has some good stuff in it like peat moss and microbes that are beneficial. I appreciate the feedback :) I will be posting this in my grow journal if you wish to follow :D
I have 2 bags of FoxFarms Ocean brand so far but it's pricey as I have to buy it online since it is not sold around here. I am buying the soil online and am looking for cheap or free shipping as I am on a budget :p

Granted I am a first time grower, but I have been using Roots Organic Potting Soil, think I paid bout $15 or $20 a bag. I have been very pleased and have heard a lot of positives from members on here. I did add a little perlite in the mix as well. Just throwing it out there!

No problem. As I stated it is my first grow, but have heard lots of positives. Also, the lady at my local hydro/brew shop said she uses it and spoke very highly of it. That being said, it by no means was the most expensive option so I felt some good vibes in the words she spoke.

Can you provide me with a link to the product?

Also, I wasn't aware it was available in the .75 cubic feet. The price I had quoted was what I had paid for the 1.5 cubic feet package.

I see some options on ebay and elsewhere but it's a bit expensive for me unfortunately. The 2 bags of fox farms soil was enough of a dent in my financial budget for me so I would like to mix it with other soils and even it out. I am WILLING to use Miracle Grow soil if there is a brand of it that has a low amount of nutrients within the soil and that won't linger around in the soil for as long and as potent. Thanks

Anymore feedback would be great! And I'm thinking about making my own soil with a various list of items but I'm wondering if it will cost me more than buying premade organic soil

best bang for you buck i have found is at menards . if you have there stores . its it called . promix xp . very good soil it has added in perlite . can plat directly into it . i compare this soil to fox farm or any other soils costing 4 times as much . mg will work well as well butttttttt you need to add perlite and its high maintance mixing it to get it ready.

Promix is NOT a soil.
It is a peat based soilless mix.

I like blackgold natural and organic best for seedlings and cuts. I like vermisoil and its hotter cousin vermifire best for store bought soil
