Kinda but not really. Should it be?
I feel so, like any game from ant farming to zebra hunting

you are either in or out, you can't be both

can she shoot the rippers you can expect..?

will she lace your coffee come harvest ..?

when family shows up, can she tell with a straight face that shes rented out the garden to grow bamboo..?

either way

good luck

The ultimate choice lies with you! We can give you all sorts of advise but you're the on the inside and were on the outside. Did you know her other tender? have you spoken to him or her ? If you haven't, ask her if you can speak to him . If she refuses then there is one red flag.

The 50/50 split of the proceeds for the use of her land vs. your labor seems fair enough. I'd approach her with the nutes question by saying -

"We can double our yields, meaning more bud/better quality medicine for our customers, if we invest $500 - $1000 in the best nutrients for our plants. I'll go buy what we need to grow the best if you can split the cost with me."

If she says no, the nutes are on you - then it's your choice whether to buy them yourself for a better return at harvest time.

20 plants, outdoors, in Cali and not even 5lbs. for you're cut.
20 plants outdoors in cali. you should get 100 pounds easey if you do it rite AND TAKE and use good feed for them plants.5 pounds a plant would be easey.HELL I at lest average 3 pounds a PLANT GROWING in the back woods.in ky.IF I could grow legal I would be getting at average 6-8 pounds a plant.people in cali, grow 10-12 pound plants every year in cali.where it is legal..ky

So he will pay rent on the land? 50/50?
Second paragraph of the first post explains the deal they have. I'll explain again....that's her 50% of the deal they have, the rent/land. He's only asking about the $250 in up front costs. 50/50 split on the cost seems fair to me, it is a "partnership". That way if said project fails for some reason (bugs, theft, animals, drought, whatever) they're both out the same amount. And if it succeeds, $125 will be just a drop in the bucket. This way nobody holds nothing over the other persons head, all 50/50.
Hope this clears things up for you.

I believe the split he is referring to is the splitting the crop 50/50. To be honest his labor and whatever he spends on nutes won't compare to what it would cost to rent or buy that spot to grow on. So even still she is getting the short end.. why would she pay for half the nutes? You said she put her 50% up already with the land.

I understand that it's a 50/50 on the crop. My argument is.... for $125 each they both would have a say in the matter, and it keeps the partnership 50/50.
If it were me in home-boy shoes I'd pay for the soil, ferts, whatever and BLOW IT UP. Spend a couple grand to grow 50-60 units with 10-12 plants, but that takes experience.
