Durban Poison, Would U Grow?

Durban poison by dutch passion. I love the way this plant grows, and everything about it. Even the smell, anyways my one concern is Low THC % or THC content. Would you guys grow this strain despite the advertised 8-15% THC? I think its around there I could be wrong maybe 15% is generous and too high but its around that.. When you could run a strain that gives around 20% like some others, that aren't 100% sativa? Thx

I think in some strains it depends on other cannabinoids,strains like that I think are high in THCV.
don't forget that's just the specimen they tested,Who know's what one can get from those beans.

I have some Durban Magic from Seeds of Africa. I plan to run it around the end of the year. Interested to see how they grow and taste.

It is one of my favorite commercially available strains I can get. It gives giggles, euphoria, clear head but it is not very strong and so you do need to smoke a lot of it, the effect also doesn't last long and the buds are not dense.
If you want to grow Sativa I would grow anything from ACE seeds.

Lilly, Panama, Her Majesty, etc. This are delicatessen strains, not commercial varieties, why invest on something you can buy anywhere when you can grow real connoisseur, hard to get stuff, that is been bred to not be hard to grow and give amazing highs?

Skunk#1 is advertised like 8% by Sensi Seeds but it ain't that weak IMO.

But yeah, I would grow Durban Poison have wanted to just haven't bought it yet.

The THC can be listed as low as it likes but Durban Poison by Dutch Passion is not weak by any stretch of the imagination.
It is beautiful and easy to grow. My suspicion is the most phenos will test very high in THCV, giving it the uplifting beautiful buzz.

I ordered some Durban Punch by Tropical Seeds last week. I've had my eye on it for awhile and finally pulled the trigger. If it turns out anything like their description I will be very happy. I love me some good Durban.

I grew some of it a few years ago it was a good day time smoke but it was to speedy and up lifting for me.I like indka dom, strains that knock you out if you can find them the best for me....ky

If you wanna make a great production cut try and find the best Power Plant (offshoot of Durban) you can get and cross it and work it to keep the massive yield but up the potency and terpene. Funny how shit comes around in popularity. Durban Poison...old timey strain. Its kinda hot on the radar again. I think this has alot to do with cookies supposedly having Durban in it. Funny.

Power Plant was a staple in Europe for a long time. Every Dutch grower ran the piss oitta that one. And changed the name. I used to run this cut me and a few homies had of power plant. Made alot of coin on that beastly bitch back in the before time. Lol. There is better quality and taste now (it actually is not bad and can still hang but its not an og floor you) but wow she was a yielder. If someone could work her fine traits and up what she lacks...man oh man. Try and stay away from Nirvana PPP or pure power plant....its not even close.

I took the Dutch passion - power plant and x it with mozambica - word of seeds . The orgins of both are supposidly south african and the f1 all came out pretty uniform . Big sativa leaves dark green Christmas tree branching a few was almost black really dark color have f2 but took a break from project . Its killing me to not see what the f2 look like yet
