Not huge, just a hobby room. 9x20 with a little veg room. Just doing autos so there is no real size stress.

What's the word on Niels grow pot more cheaply better than sun lights?

Uhaul,

I hear you billy. I'm having a blast myself with growing. Compared to my real work this shits a piece of cake. I managed to slam 60-70 hours a week, get my new room finished, take care of 2 little ones and please the anti-pot wife enough and I still enjoy the shit out of it. So many people complain it's hard, or I wouldn't like it cause the time it takes. I know it's different cause I'm new to it but I'm dreaming about it every second I'm away from my girls. Little wiring and some new lights and I'm back in action.
What is that bucket hanging there for?

Lol seems like bullshit to me .
Did a five year old come up with that ?
"Like the sun, but better "

Before I shell out anymore money for lights I want to know their reputation .
Apache has a reputation that speaks for itself . There's legitimate science Involved In the engineering of their fixtures . They can claim reputable institutions as customers etc.
but this guy lol his fucking pitch is better than the sun ..... Period .

Nice selection. I only buy from autofloweringseeds.net the free seeds are great.

My plants should be dead nevermind produce, I changed lights so many times, switched nutrients, just basically did everything you shouldn't and I think I will end up pretty damn good. Definitely put them in their final pot even right from seed, lower nutrients and don't stress them out. A late night move in a uhaul truck might do damage.

My autos won't be started until next weekend and I'll be in new space so they won't have to be moved .. I just have to move 5 trees and 6 clones

Honestly You should check out mephisto genetics if you want banging autos.Deal directly with them...and ya plenty of freebies.I'd put mephisto up against any auto breeder in the world at this point.

My friend uses them religiously. He is pulling1/2 lb autos constantly using toof decay and some other alien strain. I bet they are in USA cause the checkout was pretty strange. I'm sticking with dinafem for now till I try a few of his mephisto seeds out. My Girl Scouts turned out shitty, vast and fast ok and critical is amazing and still going

yeah Ive run some of their blue strains, blue widow, blue kush. The blue kush was bomb really nice smell low yield and lanky (like a kush). Tossed it mostly based on structure, lanky and didnt hold its own weight at all.
The blue widows im running still. They are so vigorous, they get huge and they stretch alot. Hard to get them enough food, big yielders. These had a great taste and smell, good yield but got cut short last time (got too big too) so didnt reach full potential. Did I learn? Nope, same mistake this time. Maybe third will be a charm (hence the 7 gallons).
Anyways one pheno is sweet bubblegum blueberry smelling, the other more blueberry. Both taste nice, have them in 5 gallons, running them in 7's next time.

Long story short, your right, the companies you listed are better. US breeders are doing big things, probably the only field the US is doing well in (joking of course). I think they were talking autos, in which case I think only HSO has autos from your list. Id totally rock dinafems autos.

heres the bluewidow, I think about 5 weeks in. Ill run it once more for sure, I want to breed too and it would be great to cross I think.DSCN0070.JPG DSCN0071.JPG DSCN0074.JPG DSCN0075.JPG DSCN0076.JPG DSCN0077.JPG DSCN0078.JPG DSCN0079.JPG DSCN0080.JPG

Guys I really need some advice on lights. I was dead set on the kinds then I had the issues with them. Then I was set on the ceramics, then cobs and now the amare 450 with cobs, less and uv. the pots are in flood tables that equal 4x12. 3 of the ammare 450's would fit well and with the current sale be priced great but still at 2500 plus shipping they would be a little over budget. 4 Go green leds are around the same price for the 6 cob units with the deal they have. 4 Ceramic metal halide would be 1600 at my local shop. It's basically down to money I guess but I do have a decent budget. I believe cobs are the way to go, just unsure is the 12" uv bulb and few extra side leds make the amare worth the extra

Sorry to see your troubles. It's an all too common problem, that most of us here have experienced. I know that you want to get the best bang for your buck when it comes to buying a nice, efficient light to grow with. I have used all sorts of panels and the recommendations that you've been getting from people are solid recommendations for quality lights, with results that you can find in this very forum. I hope that you will take the time to read some threads here, or at least listen to the experienced advice that people are trying to give you. Take care and good luck!

open that shit up its usually just a loose connection. spend 10 minutes troubleshooting

UVB, has never been an absolute, I don't think the extra cost is worth the UVB. if it is that important you can build your own uvb lamp for cheap. vs 6 cob's for 725.00 or 1145.00. ironically its a $420 dollar difference.

so you need to cover 3 4x4's (3 units) of T3-2100 w/reflectors would be $1590.00 (9 total cobs) imho a bit under lit for your space. or ( 3 units) of T4-1750 w/lenses 1950.00.(12 total cobs) good coverage and they are three feet long, so you would get some good cross lighting at the ends.

or three Pacific's also (3 units) 1950.00 (18 total cobs) oh snap he just raised the price to 725.00 so $2175.00. I think you would have excellent coverage, by the numbers on his site.

IMHO, if I was spending money right now, these two small companies would be my choices. TBH, some months form now when I do/if decide to change my light solution, I may just buy them I'm starting to loose motivation for DIY. lol

do you still have your kinds? did you get one fixed? you can use them also, with some tray rotation.

I had good results with my old(2) k3's and 2 CMH's in a 5x10

The failure at first pissed me off but I now realize it's a blessing. I should end up with much better efficient lights and also save a few bucks too

On this site there are alot of people who bash Kind Leds and i can appreciate other peoples opinions but results matter to me more . I'm using an AT600 for flower right now and I'm vegging clones with KindXL 1000 and all I can say is see my results.
6 days ago I took the 4 cuttings and put the kind over them ..Due to moving right now I'm limited in space severely and can't hang the light so I've rigged it to hover about a foot over the plants and i rotate them out always having one under t5 since only three will fit under kind the way I've rigged it ...So they all get equal time under the led .

In 6 days they've exploded under the kind ..At least I think so ... I only have a few months experience growing at this point so I'm definitely not an expert ..But the results I'm seeing from kind are pretty good .
The build qualities of the light leave something to be desired in way of durability but the results are there .

All of the clones were same size 6 days ago and the top pic is of one of those ..The bottom pics are the clones today . Not even a full 6 days later .

Thank you for the reply. Fortunately victor offered me a very good discount on 3 lights. If they were cobs alone I wouldn't be getting excited but the 60 additional Cree 5 watt diodes per panel add value and cost too. I agree on the uv as well after doing hours of research it's not worth the money or would make it a game changer.

Go green led offered me 4 6cob panels shipped for 2500. I think that would be the best option but I don't need 4 panels to cover my area. Also if I purchased 3 the deal wouldn't have been so enticing.
