The driver s a two wire only, no ground. ant extension chord will work. peace

I also found a SCREAMING deal on UVB. 2: 4' Single Bulb t5 fixtures with reflectors with 2: 4' PURE UVB Bulbs from AgroMax for $120USD.
I'm debating on getting these and using for 15 mins at top of each hour.
But I've never used in prior runs and neither has basically anyone else, ever. So I'm not sure it's worth even bothering

i didnt say it wasnt a good deal, i said it wasnt some ridiculous screamin deal as the first place i looked was close in price....

regardless the cf-style reptile bulbs are cheaper than either of the T5 or T8 options

$10 ea shipped in qty 5+ and you dont need a ballast/fixture:

i could buy 13W of light and 5W of ballast i suppose.... from what i understand UV dominant bulbs should be slightly more efficient than visible light fluorescent as there is less phosphor, its more straight UV

Those reptile bulbs don't even come close to the amount of UVB the PURE UVB bulbs do though. Plus that's a tiny little 5" CFL. These are FOUR FOOT LONG bulbs that stretch across my entire screen. 2 on either side with the reflectors keeping the light down on the canopy would do so much better. I guarantee I'd have better results (if uvb gives results :P) with them rather than those mogul based ones.

AW16, the trick is to actually read and then comprehend what's been posted before stating the obvious. I can go to HopSings on Ebay and get more power for even less. I wouldn't trust Semi's anyway but that's just me.

For something that's only on 5-15 minutes a day, I'm all about cheap. Plus with the semileds, you can space them accordingly to be able to actually be of purpose.

I'm all about accurate nm on something that IS mission critical when flowering 14/10. And if you want even coverage go Illumitex. Spend a buck tightwad!

As for 660nm wake up lighting. Any recommendations for how long to turn on before lights on and how long to leave the 660's on with the main light on during flowering...

I don't like my illumitex its a good light, but its too heavy (why does it have a soft iron chasis ?) and the F3 spectrum isn't quite right, too much emphasis on deep reds.
