i'm on central CA coast, the coldest it got was probably 60s at night

and I know that the OP is looking for purple in particular, but I felt like adding, I have NEVER been impressed with any purple herb at all, the absolute best I ever grew was a querkle, and it was maybe an 8 out of 10.
like my top 100 are all "green" herb

thanks man, and honestly the herb looked WAY better than it smoked, but that's how every purple herb has been that I've smoked, and I've smoked easily a hundred different purple strains
the only one I have yet to try is the grapekrush, that one has always been highly touted.

All i could find was the smelly cherry, not sour cherry, but thats what he could have ment. These guys have a great reputation around here from what ive heard and have a thread thats pretty long. And yes, please do keep us informed as to how those strains perform and if they make you pissed off for not purpleing up for ya. You have a gaggle of good genetics there although i must say im cheering for the rare darkness outta the three.
Sour Cherry is no longer sold by Breeders Boutique but they were being given out as freebies. Smelly Cherry is a different strain but does red / purple up. I have a few Smelly Cherry seeds that will get wet later on in the year.
Jump in the Breeders Boutique thread (seed bank review section) or just contact them via their website, really helpful guys.

I agree with you man. The purps just don't really do it for me in the high department. That being said, I love the smells and tastes of the purps. Can't get enough.
I have a candyland (gdp x platinum gsc) and she's the first thing I go to smell in the morning. It's nice!

I got some candyland seeds at the hemp festival in san Francisco, haven't ran em yet though, my buddy ran 5 and allllllll 5 were males...
how was the plant? I assume since you go to it each morning that shes a nice one eh?
any of the typical slooooow growth that the gsc has?

The Candyland is hard for me to describe tbh.The pheno variation is pretty crazy. I'm not surprised your buddy got all males on them..Out of 10 seeds I got 7 Males, Which is the highest male count I've had.. It's funny because all the males looked exactly the same, short little rag-a-muffins that looked really nothing like cannabis.. More like some wild varieties of lettuce lol..they were all definitely platinum dominant.
I came out with 3 females.. The one I described smells amazing and it's actually very vigorous. The only problem is she has TINY tiny tiny buds. I have a 24 inch plant that's maybe going to give me a half ounce. As good as she smells, she's gotta go.
The other one is a spitting image of the platinum cut. She's ridiculously resinous and she's a little slower on the veg side. Pretty cool plant tbh, purple resin rails, little diamond encrusted rocks all the way down the stems. I can see why they call her the platinum cut, it was hard for me to get a good picture because she's so shiny. Only downside is she has absolutely No smell yet, hope it comes out in the next couple of weeks if not none of them will stay around..
The other pheno isn't really worth mentioning, but I will say that the GSC dominates this hybrid. There's hardly any gdp in these girls at all. The males were all STRAIGHT cookie dom.

awww well fuck... that answers my question...
the gsc I ran for about a yr NEVER yielded me more than a half ounce per plant, wheras my other plants pull down 3-6 oz a plant.
typical GSC... awesome smoke, tiny yields, and slow ass vege times..
such a great smoke though, just is unwashed sweaty ballz to grow

The picture I posted is the platinum Dom cut (no smell) and those are typical small gsc buds. The other pheno has THE smallest buds I've ever seen on a plant. The more I'm looking at it the more I'm thinking that half of the plant will fill up a bowl and that's it.. Not to mention, like you said, it was a bitch waiting on these things to get big enough.
