I got my 2 seedlings potted up in 5 gallon smart pots in coco & perlite. The third in the little pot is one I did for a friend but if he doesn't come for it soon it'll be stunted, poor thing, cos I don't have space for it. Growth has slowed a little but I assume they're spreading their roots under there. Anybody know if they're fussy about temperature? I've put a little usb fan in the veg closet to try and strengthen up the stems but I'm worried it's making it too cold for them, it's like 22c in there now? I'm concerned that might be the cause of the slowed growth that I'm putting down to them trying to veg out the pots underneath?
I know the stems look a bit stretchy but it's how I've repotted them. I sadly under-estimated how much perlite & coco I would need to fill the 5 gallons so I put them in like that so I can top it up and bury those stems when I get some coco. I think I want more perlite in the next mix too, any tips on how much perlite to coco is best for the HS? 20160502_110925[1].jpg 20160502_110911[1].jpg .

Great job so far !!!!!!!!!
Thank you! It's been almost too easy so far, this new hobby of mine, and I'm praying my luck holds out because I really want to do a good job on these babies, I sort of think of them as my first "proper" grow cos they're the first ones I've started where I don't feel like just a noob practicing not killing killing plants! :peace:

**Edit Just noticed I wrote "killing" twice. Weird. I have been feeling quite angry the last few days...

As long as you start with good genetics, don't over love them, and do your homework you will be fine.
YOU CAN DO THIS !!!!!!

Just wanted to update you all with a couple pics of my outdoor HSx's. And my banana tree next to the HS started producing fruit. I'm a very happy gardener today. And I think my Summit Grow Lab will be here today. I hope everyone is doing well. Peace and Love

Hi guys, apologies on the slight delay but the 3rd Comparative Grow has now begun :)

Please read all of the below post to make sure you understand the everything :)

This time we have paired up with the wonderful Mephisto Genetics and have the awesome Autoflowering strain: Heisenberg Special

Here is a description of the Heisenberg Special from the breeders, Mephisto Genetics:

“Heisenberg special is an F1 hybrid of two of our favourite strains. The cross is Walter White X 24 Carat.
This Heisenberg Special was made during summer 2015: we needed to reproduce 24 Carat and we were running the Walter White for flowers simultaneously.
We selected a handful of our favourite Walters from a greenhouse of 48 to be pollinated by one reversed 24 carat.
When we conducted a test grow, we found the plants grew stocky and branchy, not quite as tall as the Walter White parent, but sturdier.
Some simple leaf tucking to expose lower shoots encouraged nice branching a multicola'd plants and she can yield a decent amount of high quality flowers.
The end flowers were very frosty, with nice density: there are peppery to sour citrus aromas, the high is potent but balanced.
We'd describe as a medium to large variety unless you get a heavy 24 carat dominant specimen (which we didn't in our sample test) height range 70-90cm
Harvest window of 65-75 days from sprout.
This was with a transplant at sex, 1.5 liter up in to 15 liters - medium of organic soil throughout.”

This is only open for all real RollItUp members, so only blades with 50 or more likes will be eligible to join in.

For anyone who wants to join in, please email Jack on [email protected], and state your forum name (RollItUp) and your username.

For anyone looking for any further info on this strain, please message the great Loki125 – Loki has done this strain recently :)

Because there will be so many entrants in this Comparative Grow, we will not be sending the free packages by tracked delivery (to keep the costs down) so unfortunately there will be no guaranteed delivery for the free packages – however, if you are also buying seeds in the same order then it will be tracked and guaranteed as usual :)

And guys, I would like to ask you all to please be patient with me after you have submitted your order and/or sent me an email, as I will be super busy when doing this, so please allow a few extra days for me to process your package; as I will be swamped AND will be off work a couple of days next week and the week after – but I will get onto each and every one of you in turn :)

So I got my Summit Grow Lab up and running tonight. I have to say that it is by far the strongest frame and most heavy duty tent I have ever seen. It was also very easy to assemble. The tent went on to the frame very easily because of how the door opens all the way around the tent. The LED fan and filter were easy to hang and hook up. And the LED is bright. Flower mode on the LED is way too bright to work under but I'm sure it will be good for the plants. Packaging was very good and everything arrived safe and it is all working great. I have 2 clones in there now and I am planting some HS tomorrow. I will keep you posted on how the grow lab does. I have it next to a tent running 400 Watts HPS so we will see what kind of yields I can pull.
