I'm trying to make sure you don't paint a target on your back for people to fuck with you. Everyone wants to fit in somewhere, and I'm sure you fit in here. Just be chill.
I don't think by saying nailing her to the floor is a great way to start off. Not nice at allI'd heed what I have to say: if you start slinging bullshit here, you're going to get called on it. I'm one of the nicer ones. My friends will nail you to the floor. So try to learn rather than make things up. I'm only trying to help you before you get shit on.
Like I said, other people would be more cruel, I'm just being no-nonsense about it. I'm trying to prevent her from getting messed with by some people that don't take well to bullshit. She is clearly sensitive. So it's best to tell her before she says the wrong thing to the right kind of person.I don't think by saying nailing her to the floor is a great way to start off. honey.. you failed by going autoflower anyaway,, tust my buddy @Olive Drab Green .. he know what hes doing ... most growers here wont go auto for some specific reason.... breeder lies, plant truancy or hust general negligence .. my thing is,, nobody wanted to steer you in the wrong direction..I'm 5/6 weeks into flowering with my girl scout cookies auto and the hairs have turned mostly all orange. There are some white ones still but not many. I'm using 2 mini LEDs and the temperature ranges from 73 to 75 with lights on. I used to have a t5 in my grow space also and the temps were getting up to 86 degrees in there. I've checked triches and they are all clear still. I'm just hoping the buds are still going to swell.
like i said to you buddy, why focus on x yields when you can worry about y yieldsAm I being unreasonable? Let's ask.

my nigga.. why worry about x when z is the problemI would like to stick my dick in your ear.
Don't cut them. Leaves don't block light. They absorb it.Ok. There are a bunch of leaves that hang below the pot that get no light so I'll trim those and I've been trying to tuck the rest of them. I'm definitely going to have to find something to hold the branches up.. Thanks for your help!
yeah but you don't want your lower buds being shadowed by fan leaves so far away from light because realistically these low fan leaves are absorbing little to no light anyway as the foot candles don't carry that far.Don't cut them. Leaves don't block light. They absorb it.
Then the plant will shed it on its own.^^^

After a certain difference even with a 1000w hid you hit a point where the light received is less than 2000 lumens at distance which is pointless
Looks like you're doing just fine.I started out with autos BC I had the wrong impression about regular seeds apparently.. From what I thought, they grow super tall and produce a lot. I grow indoors in a closet so I don't have the space for something huge

In the defoilation thread there were some good comparisons done. Popcorn bud will be popcorn bud. Taking leaves has little effect. If popcorn is a problem then it would be better suited taking those limbs before flower.
You WILL learn, it doesn't happen overnight.I need all of you here to just grow one for me lol
I'll agree to an extent. I'll agree that with a scrog, LST, topping, fimmimg, and other training methods you do get more leaves. I would thin some.Very true, however.
Through my own experiments I have found that defoliating twice during a long veg will allow certain mains to slow growth and the smaller ones to catch up.
And during early flower open the way for more light penetration which in turn produces buds of 3G plus to your "popcorn" sites.
If one plays around enough defoliation and plant training can turn even an average yielding strain to be so much more.
