12/12 from seed 150w hps bag seed (budget grow)

Before I get flamed for anything, THIS IS A HOBBY FOR ME. Not medical grade, not looking for crazy yields, I just enjoy it.

Starting a journal on a little bag see I have, she popped her seed and was planted this past Sunday 3/27.
It will spend her entire life in a 1.5' x 2' tent under a 150 watt hps. (single cheap duct fan for airflow)
It will be growing in miracle grow standard potting soil with 6 months of "food" (I know, shut up about it)
It will be fed the Technaflora recipe for success kit with possible additives if needed (epsom salt, molasses, etc).

I started her in small pot of home made compost before the switch to the miracle grow in a larger pot in about a week.

Today is her(fingers crossed) first day she popped out of the soil.

She will be sharing her grow space throughout the grow with other plants. Currently with one lovely lady at day 31 flower.

Day 2 from breaking soil and shes stretched quite a bit, moved her closer to the light.

yay! finnaly a 12/12 from seed bagseed grow i can follow! , mind leting me know what kind of smoke the seeds came off of? was it reggie? if so was it bricked when u got it or lose buds? and beautiful so far! keep it coming!

Sorry for not keeping this up! No one seemed interested! @skoalmint614 I'll try and keep it more updated from here on out.

as for the seeds I'm pretty sure it was from some decent buds, wouldn't have kept it otherwise.

but heres some pics of it now 1 month and a few days after she first popped, she turned out to be a girl and started to show flowers a couple days ago.

I also added a few pics of the buds from my last harvest

ok little update, shes doing well still stretching a little but the bud sites are starting to get more dense so im assuming stretch is about to be over. Day 40 overall on the grow and id say about a week maybe week and half into its flowering.

Of the 45 members currently on RIU, 40 would be hobby growers where as the other 3 are medical users and 2 are newbies like ur self

so its bagseed so you will never know what you have...=poor start

you made no mentions of the kelvins intended for vegging use..?

Clearly you don't understand what I'm doing, so here it is, clearly stated.

BUDGET GROW - meaning I don't plan on spending much money. Just soil and nutes as needed. Not buying more lights when I don't plan on growing more than an ounce or so at a time. 150 watt hps is more than capable for what I'm looking for.

12/12 FROM SEED - I understand all plants have a vegetative stage, but as I am growing more than just this plant(other clones that I cut and veg for 1-2 weeks max) in this tent, the lights will be 12 hours on 12 hours off throughout the entire grow, and they are under the hps as stated. The kelvin are somewhere around 2000, not proper for veg growth but I don't really care my other plants are more important and are mature enough to be under the hps bulb. If you're wondering what I veg my mother and clones under its a mixed spectrum LED that has worked out great so far.

Bagseed- I really don't care what I get, this is a small experiment to see what will happen. Besides that, any seed has potential to be some decent weed, I don't need to be spending money (BUDGET GROW) on some high priced feminized seeds from a seed bank.

As for your 12 week grow blog....what? I have never read it and could care less about fucking up on YOUR process. I'm no newbie to growing, not an expert, but no newbie. I have my own process and it has worked well for me and other people. I recently had the opportunity to do some small time growing and took advantage.

Thanks for your "advice" but I'll stick to what I've learned on my own and continue to expand my own growing knowledge threw experiments like these. This was purely meant to be a simple grow, on a small budget. All the extensive effort is not needed nor wanted for some, here I'm simple showing what will happen in these situations.

Again thanks for checking out my grow and I don't intend to be rude here, but come on, I clearly stated that the flaming was not needed.

thats beautiful! but let me ask , in todays age why did you not just bury it up to its first node as a seedling and then FIM it? you would have had way more bud off of that one small plant!

youre right, but im not really looking to maximize yield with this one plant. with this one just trying a simple set up with the least amount of work possible. basically just throw a seed in the 12/12 and let it do its thing, it seems to be doing as expected so far.

besides that ive got another one in the cab now with this one that I have done just that. started from a clone i cut myself from a mother i grew myself, which i will continue to take clones from. my usual process simply is cut a clone wait for roots, bury it as deep as i can in first pot, let that fill container with roots, move to larger pot burying it deeper again, top, lst as needed, flower, continue training as it stretches.

with the 150 watt hps I know my yields wont be spectacular. but on my last run I got just over an ounce and half dried bud. thats really all im looking for.

an update one week from last update. shes starting to get there now, stretched more than I wanted it to this week but im really hoping its done because im running out of room up top. fed once and watered twice since last week.

Dude its coming along great. Those buds look good for the watts alloted. I'm now watching ur thread. Do u plan to actually weigh the results so u sont waste my time?

She ended up at 26 grams. Lighter than expected, it dried out real fast and it kind of ended up a little airy.

But she is potent! Smells good and very strong, stinks up a room when the jar is cracked. Smoke is decent, good taste.
