Hi.
I usually grow in FFOF and FFHF soils...usually adding some type of commercial fertilizers as needed as the nutrient levels diminish in the soil.
I have found that the FFOF is very dark and nutrient-rich soil that seems to be full of all the "good stuff" that are often used to make nutrient tea.
So, I was wondering about just using a cup (or so) of the FF soil dissolved in a couple gallons of water to make a tea that could carry me all the way through flowering. I would just water the pots with fresh, FF soil in a slurry -kind of like top dressing, but with maybe a bit more penetration into the soil...???
My thinking is that it will save a lot of time and money and space. But, maybe I'm missing something in this idea...
