I was exhausting my 600w hps into my next room over from my 4x4 tent. Ive decided to go out the window in the same room next to my tent. I pretty much just threw the duct out the window and put some wood ontop of the window well so you cant see it. And taped up any closed gaps on the inside.. Humidity rised from 39% to 66% is this cause im exhausting outside now? My temps didnt change much although lights are off now. Any input is helpful :)

The heat of the lamp used to dehumidify ur house, make the air dryer..

Now you exhust outside you basically turns ur dehumidifier off (lamp) and drow humid air into your tent (space)

66 is okay just try to bring it down alittle in flower..

I've just experienced the same thing. I'm growing in a wardrobe that's located in a small room, and I've been fighting with high temps, so I decided to exhuast outside... and that didn't do anything to help the temps, but did raise the humidity.

Next run I'll need an AC.

Im thinking the same thing maybe.. My seedlings are only a week old.. My temps went up to 80 exhausting in the room over.. 75 exhausting outside so not too bad but its only gonna get hotter with summer coming.

Looking into ac units now but rather not. What do you guys think? The room the tent is in is usually 65-70 and tent temp is usually 10 degrees above

Don't throw that exhaust right out the window. Its lights up like a jet engine got forbid thermal scans ever pass your area.
At least hook it into the dryyer exhaust so it looks somewhat natural. Or exhaust back into a room and leave the windows open.

Back to original. Question. That air was staying in the house being recirculated. Now that you've stuck the exhaust outside, ypou have created "negative pressure"
Air that leaves the house must come back in.

Negative pressure is good though right? I open the window in the room the tent is in so fresh air is coming in.. And my exhaust outside its underground almost ill take a pic i cant think of any reason for anyone to see it.
