Full LED grow (first grow) COB

Hey guys! So this is my first grow! I just moved up here to Southern Oregon from Missouri about 9 months ago, and finally have established myself to where I can try my thumb at growing! Let's get started!

My grow from veg to flower will be completed in a 36"x20"x62" Mylar tent. (I originally began to construct my own {I'm a huge d.i.y.er} out of pvc, but the more I read on it, the more I began to second guess my setup, and realized that it would actually be cheaper to get a professional NON-TOXIC tent.

Medium: Fox Farm's Salamander Soil in 1gal pots

Strains: misc. bag seeds I've collected the last 7 years

Lighting:
Veg- (2)Duracell 60w equivalent 9.2w 4000k 850lumens, and (3)60w equivalent 9w 5000k 800lumens

Flower- (1) 800w COB LED, (4)200w cob chips, Wavelength 430-760nm

I started these seedlings in a wet paper towel, transplanted them to black spray painted solo cups, and stuck them outside for a week while I waited for my tent to arrive. Finally, today it came, so I transplanted all 17, hopefully girls, to 1gal pots that I scored off a job. I then managed to stuff all 17 plants into the tent, and now the fun begins!:D

Update day 2: while at work, I left the tent door closed with the lights on, and no circulating fans, just to see what the temp would rise to, and to my surprise it only hit 76*f and was at 72 when I got home.. Also, I came home to find that my LED light had finally came in the mail! So I instantly switched the lights to test this bad boy..
My first thought was, "wow this thing is pretty heavy", but my tent's metal frame seems to be supporting it just fine! As far as the light itself, this thing beams! It also puts off quite a bit more heat! I tested my tent and closed everything up for 5 minutes with no fans on, and the temp quickly climbed to 81*F. Definitely gonna have to figure some temporary intake/exhaust setup until my fans arrive!

I've been running the plants under the cob light for five days now, and just switched over to 12/12 to weed out the males. But I did just start noticing a little bit of lime-greenish color on the new growth.. It might have been from this spray, OVERGROW, that the local hydro store hooked me up with.. It's a sample bottle and says not to mix with water, and spray canopy in direct sunlight to protect from bugs and mildew. im currently not using any other "fertilizers", but thinking I might need to supplement some CalMag? Good looking seedlings and set up, excited to watch the progress, traveled to Oregon a few months back. So stoked to walk in to a store and purchase recreational buds. Curious if u were staying in flower or switching back to veg after finding the males?

It's truely powerful country out here, and such a blessing/convenience being able to run down to the corner market to grab some meds while your dealers are busy ignoring their phones. Definitely nothing like that back home!

But to answer your question, after I weed out the males, I plan on trying to main-line the females, so I'll have to switch them back to veg to build up their canopies again..

Ya I bet, its a beautiful thing they got goin up there. Hopefully down here in California will be next, good plan getting rid of the males so u can focus on the ladies. Just from my own experience it can slow down the growth when u go from flower back to veg. I also had some crazy looking twisty spiraling leaves, also only 3leafers. It was interesting. Just a heads up so u aren't too alarmed. They do come back fully vegged and healthy though. Better than a tent full of ballsacks. I got some pics of the transition if u want c...

Ya came back fully and completely healthy. I'm no expert and i don't know if it does this every time you reverse. Just what happen to me. I'm curious about the topic. U also see in the picture only 1-3 leaves, it changed and grew the normal amount after transition. It's healthy now and building flowers. Nothing to be concerned with, just good to know possibly
