i have a small area where i put new clones from friends because this happens all the time ..
you take in a clone for some new genetics and end up with bugs
i think you are right in sticking to seeds as it seems there are tons of posts here about getting mites from clubs and dispensarys.

Just sucks because seeds are way more expensive and you have to weed out males and shitty phenos. The club where I used to live had reliable clones without bugs, but they are not around any more.

stick to a more well known seed bank and if you dont get what you want or was advertised most will replace them. i see so many people here asking about seed banks that nobody knows and they wonder why they get crappy genetics.
even if you get 60% female you are still better off than loosing crops and all the work needed to get rid of the bugs.
let us know how it goes.

after you get a good strain of seeds then do your own clones, no bugs that way.

Mites are the worst problem an indoor grower can have I hope the neem oil works none of the organic pest controls I have used put a dent in the population I had suscess with mitacidal soap but it was harsh and almost killed my plants sprayed before flowering and yeild was lame. clean my grow rooms and they have been gone for 5 years but I don't trade clones much and keep my room seterile no dogs no me if I've been out messing with yard plants I was up and change ect ect Bonz said it its the time and clean up thats annoying and loss of good plants I guess bongsmilie

I do keep mothers and clone my plants, I have like 3 or 4 different strains that I grow, I just wanted something new. I have been grwoing the same strains for a quite a while and just wanted some new flavor.
I think I am going to order some DNA Genetics Afghani, its only like $30 a pack. I am going to try these first, since the last time I ordered from the seed bank that has these seeds I got screwed. I don't want to buy a $100 strain and not get my seeds. SO I am going to do a trial order with the cheaper seeds, then, if they get here, make another purchase of the seeds I actually want.

I let a "co2 bomb" go last night. They were sitting at about 20,000 PPM of Co2 for about an hour. I am in the process of dosing the room again with Co2. I am going to let them sit for about an hour again.

The only thing with using all these different solutions is that I don't know which one actually worked. I won't really know if it was the Co2, the neem in the soil, the pyrethrins, or all of them together.

the ingrediant in neem that works is the pyrethrin, so its doubled dose.

whatever works, good luck mang

its been my exp. that u never spray plants with insecticide once theyve entered the bud cycle.its just too hard to wash it off,not to mention there is no way to be sure you got it out of your buds...to add something for bugs systemic is also a no no because everything you add to the plant through the roots is going to end up in the plants trichs...my suggestion...environmental manipulation.cooling your grow room will slow reproduction.jacking the humidity will slow reproduction.other than that you might have success removeing them with a shopvac, you just have to be real carefull not to rip the plant to shreds...good luck..hope this helps...

Are you sure the active ingredient in Neem is pyrethrin? Pyrethrins are made from chrushing chrysanthemum flowers and neem oil is made from the neem tree. It seems like these would be two completely different products. It says on the neem bottle that it is 100% pure neem oil, it doesn't mention anything about pyrethrins.

They do make neem oil with pyrethrins in it, but it is not the active ingredient in the pure neem oil. I think they mix them because the pyrethrins actually kill the mites, where as the neem disrupts their maturation and makes the plant taste bad to the bugs.

Well after the couple of co2 bombs in the flower room, it looks like most of the adults are gone. I pulled off 2 of the most damaged leaves, there aren't many, and they didn't have any adults on them. I didn't see any on the other leaves either. There were still eggs, but I'm hoping another bomb or two and the problem should be close to solved.
