My buddy just brought this over ten mins ago will this help at allYou got slimed my friend. Looks like root rot (pythium), or the start of it. Try to rinse some of that off, change your bucket and you need to use a beneficial bacteria, or a sterilizer like H2o2, bleach, etc. There are a million threads about how to treat this etc. Everyone goes at it a little different. I use hydroguard (beneficial) in my hydro system, works very well. If you don't use something to prevent it, you are almost guaranteed to get it.
U added the shield though right? My temp gauge broke so I do not have one unfortunately I just raised the lights and hoped for the best to be honest
I keep it at about 75 in the tent I have it in a really small room with a window ac unit I added 35ml to the 4 gal res I put the roots in a new clean bucket and going to clean the one that it got the root rot in with bleach and rinse it out really good.I just went through it so good luck it's hard to stop with out chilled water if it's a warm room.
I sucked at DWC lol. Got rot the first time and never tried again . Good luck, I didn't try hydroguard until after chiller was running but I hear it's effective at warmer temps. I run my Res at 65-66.I keep it at about 75 in the tent I have it in a really small room with a window ac unit I added 35ml to the 4 gal res I put the roots in a new clean bucket and going to clean the one that it got the root rot in with bleach and rinse it out really good.

LOL I tried all of them except HPA and I'm back to the old faithful flood and drain . Before the time spent building the passive chiller I was really considering drain to waste coco so I wouldn't have to worry about chilling anything lol. I move outdoors in the summer due to heat.Yeah I'm shutting down the whole DWC im doing a swiss cheese autoflower in it and its about a month and a week into flower never again has been nothing but a headache
