Alright, I've decided to go organic. I'm going to be doing 20gal no till pots, and have picked up all my ingredients to build my soil. Here's a quick breakdown of my soil,
1/3 Premier Canadian Sphagnum Peat
1/3 Pearlite/lava rock
1/3 Compost/EWC
Neem Meal: 1/4 cups cu.ft
Kelp Meal: 1/2 cups cu.ft
Crab/Fish Meal: 1/2 cups cu.ft
MBP: 1 cups cu.ft
Glacial Rock Dust: 3 cups cu.ft.
Oyster Shell Flour: 1 cups cu.ft
Gypsum: 1 cups cu.ft
OK so now for the questions.
Can I put this soil straight into pots, add worms, plant a cover crop and let it sit a couple weeks before adding my clones?
Or should I let it sit in the kiddie pool for a couple weeks before putting it into pots and adding worms?
Also when it comes to worms, does it matter what I get? Is it best to get just one kind, or will multiple species get along fine in one pot?
Thanks!
