Average Autoflower Yields outdoors?

I live where the weather gets bad around the first of Oct. Lucky if we have no freeze by the 15th and with the right plant (blue dream will do) can average a few lbs. Thats 50 autos right there. And you have quality and the ability to keep your favorites around for many years.

I have done 50 autos believe it or not my partner and I started over 100. And we worked out asses of only to have 8 regular season plants outperform and outproduce the autos that year.

I understand the pics or it didn't happen thing. I had lots on my old computer and didn't save them. I grew my first plants in 92'. Indoors, outdoors, greenhouses and light deps done them all. And thought autos would be awesome when they first came around. Now not so much at all. Fem seeds are bad to. I went a decade without ever seeing a hermaphrodite but with fems I get them often. Same with twins. Get them a lot with fems.

I haven't given up on fems but autos yea. Not even a freebie for me. My last was amnesia auto from world of seeds? Anyhow about 125 days pure garbage. Hard to give it away with so much quality bud around these days. And I live in a unfriendly state. I can only imagine how blessed some are in legal areas.

I have to ask people who have been to a dispensary do they sell autos there? I can assume they may but wonder?

I've grown about 30 femmed strains indoors and have had one throw seeds. And I do grow photo's and not trying to replace those just trying to find a mid season plant.

The same as I wanted. Even If I have smoke all year I love to sprout more.

Fems definitely have a higher rate of herms. Every breeder will agree. Its not even arguable anymore. I have been told this by many breeders who are considered 'elite' by the members here.

As for autos I imagine there will be good ones down the rd possibly. But it was that logic that kept me growing them. Hearing stuff like 4th gen autos, nothing like when they first came out. That crap gets me wanting to grow more. I tossed the hat in.

Sorry if I seem like I want to argue. I just want to give my experiences with them. I hope you do have great luck and find something lovely. Any ganja is better than none. I will shut up now. Good luck with your grow.

Well you sure seem to have had bad luck with auto's and fem's but I've had pretty good luck with fem's as far as not throwing seeds. As far as potency well that's debatable lol. Yes I'm a long time smoker and I guess I'm hard to impress :( but the flavour of the month strains just don't seem all that great, for the most part. The whole seed thing has gotten way out of control with lots pumping out shit, and throwing pollen at any and everything IMO.

No I have been buying fems for years now and love them. They do however have higher rates of herms. I'd rather have a herm once every few packs than 50% males.

I have heard guys like sub cool or whatever say they somehow are inferior. This has not been my experience. Just some balls every so often. I can say of one occasion I had a pack of seeds all turn hermaphrodite. I blew the guy up on Facebook via private msg. He asked for address to send replacements. Me (stupid) gave him my real addy and never got the replacements either. He even owned up to them as having issues. These were hot stuff at attitude then, now out of stock. Sometimes that kinda stuff pisses you off. Especially when I had 5+ other types doing great next to those monsters.

Ethics is not something commonly associated with the ganja industry. And that sucks.

Now I'm rambling. I've been smoking double alien og. Besides going 86 days from flip its great. I had one freebie. I love when freebie turn out good. Already have more going, same one. Shit makes you ramble.

The Black Jack Auto Feminised strain by Sweet Seeds is the newest version of Black Jack. This was created by crossing S. A. D Auto Auto with the ever popular Jack Herer strain. Jack Herer is used in multiple breeding programmes all over the world as a perfect parent plant. Named after the cannabis activist and author of The Emperor Wears No Clothes, a book designed to legalise cannabis. Jack Herer is usually complimented for its excellent medicinal properties as it can act as a pain killer without reducing functionality. It has often been used to treat ADD, PTSD, stress, depression, arthritis, and migraines. The Black Jack strain is a vigorous grower as well as a high quality, potent, intense hybrid. The resin production is also something to be marvelled at with this strain and the auto-flowering aspect means that it flowers extremely quickly. Auto-flowering seeds were created in order to make the growing process easier and more accessible. Auto-flowering simply means that, instead of responding to a specific light-cycle, these plants flower on their own when they reach a certain age. This strain can be grown indoors or outdoors, its indoor yield is 500-600 g/m2 and its outdoor yield is 500-700g/plant. It should be harvested 9 weeks from germination and grows to a height of around 40 – 110 cm. Pungent sweet aroma with earthy tones. Fast flowering, strong effect and superb hybrid vigour.

I've only tried those three. The Pandora was the bigger with one plant at 110 grams but yup shit :). I'm hoping the think different is better quality wise but not holding my breath lol. Other people's ideal of good seems to differ from mine I guess lol.

How did the auto ultimate and magnum go ? I have both and crossed a fem auto ultimate over itself and magnum to make female seeds for outdoors

I gave my friend a NLxBB seed. He put it outdoors during the day in a 3 gallon pot and put it under 200w of CFL at night. That thing was huge. Waist high. 3 ounces yield.. No special nutes.. Just Fox Farms Trio.

I harvested 4 blue auto mazar two weeks ago and filled 16 jars, didn't weigh it but a jar typically hold 23 - 28 grams. It's ok lol, DP genetics seem ok, not top shelf but you know you've smoked pot lol. Next spring I'll try some mephisto genetics and see how it goes. The search continues :(.
