They look good to me. I would have put more soil in those cups, not that that is a deal breaker. Are you under lights?
The only sunlight is the sun right now, bit I recently made 2 horizontal slots on the bottom of the cups for drainage as well also supposed to have some thunderstorms.Bringing them inside isn't a option.

If they're small, you could try putting them under some plastic, an overhang, windowsill or putting a cut-off milk jug or something over them when it's supposed to storm

Would a bottom half of a water bottle work with a slit in it for air or no slits?

You'd want some slits in it or some way for it to get air

If you have wind and stuff, you may want to tape the bottle to the container with the soil to keep it from blowing over. Bigger containers with more soil will obviously be harder for wind to tip over, as well.

OK I'll do that and when should I transplant the seedlings into a bigger pot?

It's hard to tell how much soil volume you have, but since your cups look small, maybe sooner than later. Once you see some 3 or 5 blade leafs ( the next set or two) maybe?

Don't leave those plastic things over the seedlings if it's warm and sunny out though - you might cook 'em

Whatever that stuff is your growing in they dont like it. They are a bit small for 8 days and one is almost dead.

Alright I'll try and get some soil after work, should I just get brand new white cups or go to bigger pot also?
