In March of that same year we firebombed tokyo and destroyed 10 square miles of the city killing over 100,000 people. 5 months later they still had not surrendered.

On the flip side, from 1931 to the end of the 2nd world war the death toll on Japanese hands stands above 17 million.

I would have apologized for having a full retard emperor at the time, those kamikaze fucks. It cost them millions of lives and it was mostly just a defensive act from america.

It was a different time. All sides did that when strategy called for it. Japan most certainly and sometimes when not strategic. If concerned about the feelings of the survivors, I get that. But what about the US soldiers that survived it? I'm absolutely certain they would ask the same question I asked you.

Just seems wrong to me to nuke a bunch of innocent civilians. The fact that it has never been done again kind of supports my opinion. Though it is just my opinion.
