Training and defoliating? All things in moderation, of course, but I like my buds to get LIGHT!!!!! I am growing a couple of autos for the first time, and even though I have read how tempermental autos can be when treated like photos, some habits are hard for me to break! I am an avid fan of LST and mild defoliation sessions when I deem necessary. Please note, this is not an invite to debate whether or not one should defoliate; I just want to know if, other than lighting schedule throughtout the grow of course, if anyone has used photo growing techniques with autos to boost yield. If so were your efforts successful or a complete bust? I am growing a pink diesel x amnesia, and an Auto Mazar. I just started the pink diesel so she's just 2 weeks:
Here is my auto mazar at 4 weeks prior to defoliation or lst:
I defoliated her right after that photo and she looked sad:
Here she is today, one week later at 5 weeks old with very mild training:
She seems to have come through okay and I am going to try to be hands off other than watering/feeding for the remainder of her life. What have your experiences been with this? Trying to learn these autos ... They are waaaay out of my element!
