And here we go...
T-Minus: Germ Day! LOL
I'm gonna TRY to keep the posts less..."wordy" cause I Know I can get carried away. So I'm gonna try a new format with my second Outdoor auto grow and try to make it more of a photo log...
Day zero:
1.) Herbie's still delivering to my neck of the woods in precisely 7 days! Great service and selection, and they let me swap the reg freebies with the auto's! Really top notch peeps in my book.
2.) Since these are going in swamps / marshes, I cut a hole in the bottom of the bags in hopes the tap root shoots down through it and into the wet ground. Then folded half paper towels into three layers and placed over the holes so I won't lose the F 707 through them.
3.) Straight from the ground well water, no testing. Room temp. Shaken for aeration before soaking the 707 for germing in a small room with a good electric heater with thermostat. I like this soil mix it is very light and drainage is superb and still stays good and moist. Put beans directly into the pots since EVERYONE has made it clear over the years NOT to transplant. Next run I'll use the seedling / cloning sponges I ordered today and am too impatient to wait for.
4.) Not planning on feeding, as swamps seem to have all these plants need to thrive. Straight up organic / soil grow.
