phresh filter screws

Do phresh filters come with screws that tighten onto the fan? I see a couple ports around the head of the filter where you slide it into the fan but no screws. Did they not give me screws? I did have a little baggy with some black metal clips but not screws

So how do you keep it snug with the fan? Im using a hurricane and the fan lip goes inside the filter lip so how do you keep them tight?

I didn't get one either. A roll of metal tape works great.

my fan and filter slide inside of each other also,, and I just used ordinary duct tape to seal and hole it together,, easy

But what is the duct tape holding if one is inside the other?

The tape doesn't hold it together, the self-tapping screws do. The foil tape just seals the joint.

duct tape sucks for ductwork. It's good for many things EXCEPT ducting.

strange,, it held together thru 3 grows in my box,, but hey, what do i know?

slide one inside the other,, then put the tape across the joint / seem where the smaller one exits the larger one, no other way to explain that one

Hold the fan back about 1/2" so you can then tape that joint

Just bought a 8x24 for my flower tent. Thing is big. Can i set it on the ground or is it a must to hang?

You can set it on the ground but it will take up valuable floor space. If you have plenty of room, go for it!

Always best to put it up high. You want it sucking the hottest air out

get a collar to keep it snug the holes are for attaching to mounts to hang the fan.

And if you aren't using the mounting brackets on the inline fan, put a small piece of foil tape on both sides covering them holes

yup, leaving holes or cracks will let out SOOOO much stink,, and you will think your filter isnt working,,,
