Costly buggers. Don't know why they're so high priced but no cheap alternative really.

I agree, but in the long term if they can keep yields high then worthwhile, going to need to invest in more supplies so I can tackle ant emergency.

DynaGrow Protekt, CaliMag/Epsoms, MicrobeLIFT are the only things I keep on hand....bulbs wel lots and lots of those too

Water way less.. dry soil Is your friend.

Yeah something that I'm beginning to understand now, just because I can grow very good house plants I have realized that I really know nothing about growing these little beauties.

If you water less and they're fungus nats they will leave . If they dont leave they're aphids.

Wonderful, just found them on Amazon, gotta love amazon. I would go to one of the local grow shops,but I would feel a bit conspicuous going in them.

My paranoia generally keeps me out of grow stores...what better place for a ripper to stake out then the grow store...cops staking them out don't even come into the equation... plus everything is cheaper on the internet and I like my discounts

Things are only as hard as you make them or let them be...one day you'll say "I can't believe everyone doesn't do this, its easy peasy!"

If you ever want to get into the whole just add water soils, I know some very effective strategies that are cheap overall depending on your location, if you can source things locally you'd be amazed how cheap this stuff really can be to grow
