Skylight open or closed? ventilation

Should I open or close that skylight?

its pretty hot in the room without the light on, like 73-75.
Air comes in through the ac vent on the floor and the doorway. But I dnt think there's really an exhaust for the hot air up there. So should that skylight be opened ?
Or should I cover the skylight to keep it dark and from heating up the room?

Depends what your ambient air temp is like?

If outside is cooler than your room then opening the skylight will make it cooler (hot air rises and will escape through the skylight).

If outside of hotter than your room then opening the skylight will probably heat up the room to about the same as ambient.

The most obvious way to get a definitive answer is try it and see. Within 2-3 hours you'll know whether it was a good idea or not.

Yup that's exactly what I did. And it showed I need to keep the skylight closed.

Pretty hot for you is low 70's? Jesus. I'm in Ga and thought 82 in my room was quite cool.

simple answer is open it up and allow the hot oxygen out .......seal the whole room as much as u can add in a Co2 burner and a minispilt

73-75 is ideal.......it keeps the THC from getting to hot and degrading and it keeps the roots and leaves active

ok the Co2 burner is just normal gear to get the best out of the plants (1500ppm is ideal for lights on) thicker buds better weights
the Mini split is to help keep temp cool in there during lights on and the burner .....plus help drop the temp at night to get plants to turn the hues ppl pay for.....it as adds a RH control to room too
