storing hash

This will be my last question if I get a good answer. I have been asking a lot of questions because I will be making some hash soon and I want to get all the info I need.
So I will be buying some small glass mason jars the only thing is in the description it says silver lids with band so I'm guessing the band is probably rubber. My question is would it matter if it had rubber or a plastic band? I will be putting bubble hash in them. Cheers

Cmon anyone? I will be buying them tomoz just wanna know if mason jars with rubber bands are good or will the rubber leach into hash? as long as it doesn't touch the rubber it should be right ay. Peace

The rubber seal won't harm it at all, especially if the hash itself isn't touching the seal. But either way you would be fine. But like @D_Urbmon said, make sure your hash is fully dry or else mold will start to grow.

I've been storing hash in Mason jars for years. One of the issues with this method can be the air/oxygen in the jar oxidizing your resin. I suggest using as small of a jar as possible and to use a vacuum sealer to remove most of the air when storing hash or flowers. It's also important to store in in a cool (approximately 50'F) and dark place.

I took the @Frenchy Cannoli workshop this past weekend in Seattle... Loved it!! Follow him on IG and take his class if you can, highly recommended!!
