Yes!! Do you see how nice that guy is? That is how you should handle things. I could talk to that guy all day long. My request would be to bring back the cameras, the feather, the trash and have some independent verification like he suggested. The only independent verification we have is the launch and the descent. All the rest is nasas word. This is the type of person I think of when someone says we did go to the moon
In the age of science, conspiracy is the religion of the ignorant. It relieves them from not doing, or not being able to do, the work required to understand the science. The problem with conspiracy theorists is that there is no amount of 'evidence' someone can provide which will convince them of the truth. They want to believe they're being lied to for some reason.
So we bring back rocks, equipment, clearer photos from the moon and it won't matter. All the 'tests' performed on these objects to prove they have been on the surface of the moon will be thrown out by the conspiracy theorists.
"If they can fake the moon landing, they can fake a few tests on supposed lunar objects too."
Forget about the knowledge of physics required to corroborate or refute the reality/success of the moon landings, just consider the cost involved in such a huge conspiracy, ensuring either the ignorance of or the compliance with such a massive fraud. How many thousands of people working in space agencies around the world are in on the cover-up? Essentially all of them, right?
I hold science to a high regard but it isn't always definite, it's mostly theory,...just no conspiracy, even though many usually do conspire on research....weird Science sways with new found facts, understanding the science only works of you actually know all the facts. And there in lies the issue, where are your facts coming from? Who's supplying them and are they comprehensive and complete? Are certain facts being obscured? Have those facts been subject to review? In the age of science, conspiracy is the religion of the ignorant. Then there's precedent. There's been a few incidents that were labeled "conspiracy theories" that have been proven true and admitted to by the govt. It's not that far fetched to think it was, at least initially, staged to win the space race. I do believe we've been to space. I think NASA is just a front, they are a high tech prototype and design firm, but also funnel money out to black ops.
It is the government...fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.

Yeah, must have missed those myself...Which ones?
I believe the first moon landing may have been a lie but what about the others? Why go back at all once the space race what over?I hold science to a high regard but it isn't always definite, it's mostly theory,...just no conspiracy, even though many usually do conspire on research....weird Science sways with new found facts, understanding the science only works of you actually know all the facts. The biggest one I can think of was the long standing conspiracy that the govt was collecting all communications data. I remember being told on many occasions I was crazy, they couldn't, wouldn't, had no reason to,etc.etc. Hey guesss what!Which ones?
We'll have to disagree on what constitutes a conspiracy theory; for me a conspiracy theory needs a massive scale con job. I'm aware of Tuskegee, and the bioprojects; they aren't near the scale for what we've been discussing. Those were just wrong doing, not a massive effort to fool the public as most folks don't even know that happened. Although close, but still not to scale is the JFK assassinationThe biggest one I can think of was the long standing conspiracy that the govt was collecting all communications data. What about conspiracies that the govt tested biological weapons on US citizens on US soil. Through declassified documents we find out they released agents in multiple cities, NY being one I recall in the subway, then tracked hospitals to see how it spread.
Tuskegee syphilis study, operation Northwoods, operation paper clip. .all denied and then proven conspiracy theories.

I believe we do have the need to explore...I believe the first moon landing may have been a lie but what about the others? Why go back at all once the space race what over?
So did Marilyn Monroei shot semen all over jfk
The government has done a lot of horrible shit over the last 200+ years...I don't think most of that shit qualifies as 'conspiracy'...The biggest one I can think of was the long standing conspiracy that the govt was collecting all communications data. But what's legitimate? Who's got that say? They do, and we just accept it? I don't. Too many people with too many motives, both individual and collective.......And...the government can't tell everything...there are very legitimate national security issues...I think that gets confused with conspiracy.
