can u grow with germinating?

i have 5 seeds now. i
1) tryed one in water for 24 hours then put it in a wet paper towel and let in Warm and a dark area in a bowl. there was a tad of water in the bowl.
2) 2nd test i tryed just putting the seed in a paper towel (not wet) then half an ounce of water in a cup. dark and warm area.

these have gone for like 4 days. some people keep telling me it's 1-4 dyas, soem sya 2-4. i mean these damn things won't work lol. i know i only tryed 5, but i thought at least one would have a root. sop my question is,
**Do u have to germinate them before growing? will it still make bvud? is germinating that important? thank you guys

I just leave mine in a cup of water until I can see the sprout barely poking out (looks like a white little bubble.) Then pop them in soil about 1/2'' deep!

They could germinate themselves when u plant them and water them. But your chances of a plant sprouting this way is much smaller. The way i was taught and works 100% of the time, at least for me, i get paper towels fold one over about three times, wet it(make sure it's completely wet), place the seeds on top and then get another paper towel folded over a couple times, wet it and place it on top of the seeds and then put that in a big ziplock bag and then put that somewhere dark and within 48 hrs all of my seeds are sprouted except for maybe a couple of duds.

i've never had any probs.just pop in in a cup of water.not to cold mind you, and leave them in a warm dark place.check they every morning, shouldn't have any problems!!!

This worked for me.

Just make sure it is a warm dark spot.

i just mine in a bowl full of cotten balls nad wet them they come out 1 day
