Buying with bitcoins or cash? Neither worked for me!

I started to pay cash for a beans order and the post office informed me a customs declaration form was required AND postage to the Netherlands for a letter would cost $13.50!

So...switched to an order by bitcoin and Coinbase closed my account for violation of terms of use when making payment.

Where is the anonimity in buying with bitcoins? Or in sending cash for that matter?

Go to South Oregon seed.
I hand printed a order form and sent it along with cash.
Got it six day's later along with freebies thrown in. really hard to complain being on the east coast and all.

Nothing happens when I click submit except the order form disappears? Will I get an email or what?

You're not telling us the whole story. An International "Global" stamp costs $1.15. Did you go to the PO window and intend to mail via Registered Mail, or Express Mail? You wanted delivery confirmation? I don't deal with "virtual currency", so I can't answer to that, but there is no declaration needed to send cash in an envelope overseas. I, just yesterday, sent cash to Hemp Depot in Canada, as I have for 9 years now. I used a business sized envelope with a Global stamp. It has always arrived, albeit slowly. Canada Post takes their time. I don't bother with overseas banks, anymore.

PO worker (USA) told me my 6x8 inch flat envelope cost $13.50 to send first class to Netherlands and required a customs declaration.

What? I bought two international stamps yesterday for 1.13 each. I've done this several times. Put money and a list of the beans I want in an envelope and put stamp on it. That's it.

yeah, i agree that it sounds a bit pricey for a first class stamp, especially if it were some what normal sized envelope, and the requiring of a customs declaration as well.. but i don't work for the usps, what do i know, lol.

I don't know why you mess with foreign sites with so many in the States wanting to accommodate.why deal with customs at all if you don't need to
I agree, but I never had a order seized. The main reason I order is selection and price. Someone just told me about a good breeder in USA so I checked it out. 107.00 a pack, shit that's high! If I knew it was better than what I was growing I wouldn't hesitate to order, but I don't think it is.

Bingo. That size and how you addressed it determines the cost. If too tall, or too wide, or too thick (over .25 in.), it then becomes a "parcel", which requires a Customs Declaration and a higher price. As I said before, send a regular business sized envelope.

Alternative to buying anonymously is to just buy anywhere and accept the bitcoins are linked to your bank account. Then put them through a tumbler like Helix Light. Have a read of this:

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Helix_light

You send the tumbler your bitcoin that are linked to you. Then send you new coins which aren't linked to you for a 3% fee. Anything you do with those new coins is now anonymous.
