Shit you don't need to hear a thing fro me bro sounds like it's all under control. Carry on lol. Fire those lights up.....I want to see that amare on and poppingHaha I know how it goes man. I need to get these bitches out of veg because they're growing like crazy! I've topped them at least 4 times just to keep them below my T5. My clones are growing roots like crazy too so I need to move these out into flower so I can get the clones into veg and pop some new beans too.
Live and learn!
I'm waiting on some parts to come in too. It's always that 1 more piece in waiting on to finish up!
Time & tide wait for no man! Either do these plants. They push you. I know. They run my life. Lol!Haha I know how it goes man. Good advice from a new grower there! I'll be going over some veg techniques this week if anyone's interested. Great results can be achieved w/o a scrog. Also, a scrog limits you to what can be done during your grow. I'd hold off to if I was in a tent.Ok. I'm new as well. First grow in flower 5 of 6 plants didn't make it not all my fault shit happens. I do not hide that I have learned A LOT from that grow. Right now second grow in veg doing much better, almost lost one plant outside, brought her in (never again) had a hell of a bug scare. Anyways I'm rambling. A SCROG net which is something I plan to try soon, would have just added so much more trouble for me than I would have needed. I would get a couple of runs going and see what training method you like better. Pick one plant and top and veg the heck out of it, FIM the shit of another LST another, get another and do a little of everything. YOU are the grower, learn to make the plants do what you want without fighting them to do so. This is what they key is, people can laugh at that whatever, the plants know what to do better than most of us. Neither you nor I are at a level where our gear is the limiting factor. Lern to grow, then later you try whatever you want but still have a baseline for production and quality.
Good luck and sorry for the rant.
Fellow FNG never grown before, more of a green horn than you
Are you running full spectrum in veg or just the veg setting?Time & tide wait for no man! Either do these plants. They push you. I know. They run my life. Lol!
Lights look jammin! Love the style of that Pro-9. Wish they made a 600watt version just like it. Notice anycdifferancevin the build quality, cord gage stuff like that? That CX-9 is nice looking to. What type of lenses does it have & are they removable?
Does the Amare still have a veg & flower mode? Wicked nice! Did you need to brace your tent?
Victor told me he's made a few changes to make the housing lighter on some of the new lights, aluminum? And Special heat-sinks , I won't talk about them though as enough companies are copying Amare as it is. I'll let them figure out how far behind they are on their own.

Only 2 days since my 12 came from under a single T-5 & now they take up 8'x3.5' easy. They are growing like crazy under these LEDs for veg. Really impressed with how the Amare is vegging.
Probably the same lenses on the 450. They are pretty intense aren't they. Weighing in at 1/2 lb each I bet.Nah the cx9 are nonremovable. It's obviously a much smaller light in size and lighter than the Pro9. I've heard good things about it nonetheless. The Pro9 weighs around 40ish lbs. I hung it by myself but it's always fun trying to balance it in one hand and hook it with the other. The cord on the Pro9 is also a couple feet longer. Came with the lenses (those bitches are heavy!) But I didn't put them on yet. They say 48" with lenses so I want to see once the plants are in there might be tight. I'm using a gorilla tent so it can hold both so far, but the big test will be the 8" scrubber and fan. They say 300 lbs capacity but it already bows a little with just the 2 lights...
Which companies are you talking about?I can almost guarantee his lenses are NOT removable like the GoGreenLED is. The owner emailed me today stating they USUALLY are held by screws and he hasn't seen one with silicone in a long time. I call bull shit. Also a scrog may limit you, but look what it can do if done right!View attachment 3703519

Gorilla 5x9. Went with the 8 to be safe about smell. GF is really worriedWhat size tent are you using? An 8" fan seems HUGE I run a 6 in my grow room and a 4 in my veg room just to scrub the air but not for ventilation. If I paid more attention I would have picked up 2 6" fans instead. The 4 uses nearly the same wattage and has 1/2 the cfm. Is there a way to reinforce the top bar? I have 6 1x4 cedar boards on my Sheetrock ceiling that were up with just finish nails and after a week or so I could see one bowing with just 3 lights and a fan so I recently screwed them instead. Couldn't imagine losing everything due to a fall.
How does the pro9 compare as far as light intensity?
Get r DoneI'm rocking The cheap ipower from Amazon. 150 shipped as a complete kit. My whole first grow was from Amazon and now I have 4 grand worth of stuff I don't really use. The ups driver asked if I was opening a business lol. I'm jealous of people that grow in their homes. Heating and cooling seem so much easier. I had to build my room from scratch and run 150' of wire and water lines under ground to get rolling in my new room.
