Pk 13/14 a must?

I used it on one tent last grow and the other I left it off. I could see no difference except more yellow leaves on the ones with the pk13/14. I used it in week 5. This was my first experience, so I'm not sure I added it at the right time, but I probably won't bother from now on. I definitely don't think it's necessary.

I started from week 3 this grow first 0.5ml/Liter and now built up to 1.2ml/Liter the plants are now on their 5 week and its a 9-10 week strain and plants look awesome...tried it also sometimes
with the suggested 1 week only 3 weeks before harvest and I think my results and swelling has usually been better with the long period of PK usage...but remember to look at EC value and only use Canna A+B so that the desired EC value is reached not to use some set ml/Liter amount...YEAH I would give them PK allready at least some ...depending if they are 8 week strain then you should totally give them the full hit of PK for7-10 days or a bit longer ..

Yes dam you need to give them PK boost now for next 7-10 days, lets say if you EC is now like 1.9 for example ,,,if reservoir is almost empty its ok to fill it up and the calculate the PK by the content ,,,if reservoir is almost full...go head and empty at least 60 % and fill with fresh water...the amount of PK is also brand related ,I am using Hesi with Canna Coco A+B...anyway after you filled all that fresh water look what the bottle says it might be usally ok at this point to use around 6ml/gallon of PK (check the bottle, now no need to build slowly up ) ,,after the PK is added to reservoir check EC value,,,so after PK and the fresh water the EC is like for example 1.2 then go a head and ad Canna A+B until desired value is reached,,,at this point maybe around 1.9 ...depending on strain,,(mine is a heavy eater ,it needs 2.2)...but don't over do the EC or you will fry your plants...it is important to understand to only top up with base nutes after the PK is added...you can go a bit longer towards the end with the PK

Go careful with PK - it's extremely strong - Canna recommend you don't expose your plants to it for more than 6 days.

When I first noticing the yellow leaves I actually spoke the Canna. The PK is forcing Nitrogen uptake and is infact cannibalising the plant, drawing nutrients out of the leaves. It is very beneficial to the buds though.

Canna recommend you use Boost to get the maximum benefit from the PK hit!

The first thing I would look at to increase size and density, would be to up grade your lighting in bloom to something with more actual power "Umol's"....
LED works well to veg.....It's lacking in solid bloom power unless you build your own COBBs...

"Needed" - No!
But Canna should tried EXACTLY as directed at least once...

Some nutrient makers "hide" extra N to help with that....In the end, with any early use of high PK amounts. The leaves will still yellow, only later. You can use more N to slow that yellowing down some.

The only real tricks with HIGH PK use is WHEN, how much to use and how long you use it!

When I used synthetics, I liked to hit them with like a PK at 0-19-32 ONCE at week 6 and once at week 7 IF I felt they could use it. (I have NEVER had a strain finish in the estimated weeks of finish! ALWAYS 1-2 weeks longer)

Does it make a big difference im using canna a & b week 4 onto 5 flowering
Massive difference,if you have used it on one grow and photo that grow then done one without it you see the difference,if you compare the photo's and end result,if your yeild is not more your using it wrong ,in my opinion one of the best nutrient pk boosters around it makes a massive difference, the buds swell after its added,i feed it for a week,it says one tank, but i feed for a full week
big bud weeks 2/4
pk 13/14 week 5

Check here for quantities - plug in your details and it will give you a grow guide right from first under light through to harvest.

I hand water every other day - 1.5L per plant. I recycle runoff into 50% strength foliar feed. I've foliar fed from first under the light through to today (63). I do it when the light firsts starts, so it gradually evaporates as the light heats up - this seems the most natural way. They'd never receive water when under a blazing sun. Because of the closed environment I think you're asking for trouble (mold) foliar feeding during the dark cycle.
