First preflowers, bagseed, help identifying sex yet?

Hey man, vegging them for 18/6 (the first month being under 20w cfls, now they're under a 400w MH, has been about two and a half weeks under this new light) - with the multiple opinions I think I'm gonna leave the first plant alone for a some more time, being sure to check it over the next week or so for any hairs to get a more definitive answer on its sex, this is a bagseed grow after all so if it's ultimately male which I'm thinking it is, I'm just glad I caught it young and can get it out asap.

Does smell have anything to do with sex? I'm noticing plant #2 is very skunky where as #1 doesn't produce much smell until being touched, i.e. after a training session usually.

I learned something for the future, I know better now is all I can say. This is a practice run, anyways. Feeding was limited ($30 Neptune's Harvest Fish/Seaweed fertilizer which I can see lasting me a few grows easily) so if it turns out to be male I won't be all that disappointed as I'm already setup for the future with a grow setup that I didn't think I'd have for a little while

Thank you for the replies everyone, the opinions still are appreciated as well to read and learn from for future grows; I'm optimistic it can turn out to be female but I'm not going to mess with it besides pulling leaves aside to checkup on those pre-flowers.

Yeah, it can sometimes take forever to show sex, keep us updated! When you found this seed in the bag, was it the only one?

I started with 10 seeds, 6 or so germinated but I only ended up getting these four to sprout - they were found in mid grade, indica/indica dom hybrid eighths, usually getting 3-4 mature looking seeds each bag - this was a couple years back before I germinated them this April in wet paper towel as a last minute thing - not switching them out of Miracle Gro and Solo Cups until around the 18th of May when I transplanted into the 3 gallons/Fox Farm and put them under the 400w.

I'm more worried about sexing them so I can decide their final pot sizes depending on how many out of the 4 are female, not so much concerned about time lost or money spent on nutes/supplies, etc as growing is a completely new hobby I'm still learning tons while having fun with these free seeds before some quality genetics next go around .

hard to say if they were self-polinated or polinated from an actual male, that would better define your chances of what sex ratio's you've got. Just keep them on 18/6 untill your sure of sex.

Will do, I'm wanting to give it more time just incase. Plant #2 being slightly younger than #1 in the pictures is also a factor in my opinion of it being male but i don't want to be anxious when I'm confident I caught them young enough to give me some waiting room still.
