I'd really like some hard definition of "suspected terrorist". Seems anyone the goes counter to Washington could easily be labeled. I was brought up to believe questioning government was patriotic, that's changed much faster than I ever thought it would.

I'm just going off personal experience, which I'll admit is limited. There used to be a dozen dedicated mental health facilities around my area. All have been closed by the state in the last 10 years and the responsibility was shifted to the prisons, which have been privatized, or to private care for those that could afford it. Seems like it's not much of a priority to government, from my perspective. What's the saying, judge a society by how it treats is weakest members?

I'm not sure on the .308/7.62. On the 5.56. If it is chambered 5.56 it will shoot both. .223 chamber can not fire 5.56.

I want to build one of those, without the stock. I'm waiting to get tubing, I don't trust the black iron, even though everything I see says it's fine, I know it's brittle. I had a potato gun blow up when I was younger, I got lucky. I don't want time think about what shattered iron would do.

There are different black pipe. The schedule 40 is what you need.

My ar is a mutt. I shopped around and bought blemished upper and lower, got the barrel and other parts from palmetto state armory.

Got less than $350 in it and its probably better than a factory colt.

That's another thing that erks me. There are only a handful of machine shops that make parts for ar-15's. They are all the same thing with different logos.

People think because they have a colt its the best. Hell colt has been known to order Mossberg barrels when they get behind.

As long as the barrel is hammer forges it came from the same place colts barrels did.

This is for anyone to know. If shopping for an ad there are tier 1-3 guns. 1 being the best. Just research which tier the manufacturer is. You can save a lot of money that way.

Plus, if you build the gun you save 11% excise tax.
