I'd test any of the panels. But I wouldn't pay a cent for them. Lol. The real thing is that no company can afford to sell better/more efficient lights than why were making diy for cheaper, and make any profit. So no matter what they send, it will most likely be a downgrade from any current setup that is using cobs that are homemade.

Sweet! But roll it up is a big place and we don't even know if it's limited to just us. To make things easier and fair it should be just for those who replied to this thread. At least they know we are somewhat interested right? He mentioned it earlier.
I agree. The thing is, a good portion of the guys eco sun would want to test, are also the guys that DIY or already have high efficiency systems. There are a few guys, like you, that would be good as testers and are willing to pay to avoid DIY. But not that many lol. And most of the ones that are probably would be more likely to spend money on tested panels like amare or Plc or tasty. But most aren't willing to DIY. It takes time to build, research, find parts at the cheapest prices. im more than happy to pay someone to do this.
I think the main problem with this company is they are based in China. Granted most of the stuff we buy comes from there but we don't deal with the business directly. At least in the USA there is a little quality control before it hits the shelves. Like harbor freight for instance, I do believe the owner is Chinese
Just so happens I'm running 3 Amare's and I think a side by side would be fun. Like hybrid said a 6 cob light would do but any less wouldn't be worth the effort. I think I know the outcome of the test but like everyone else we are sort of here because we are partially interested in some sort of a way. lets do this test! It's early morning in China. Just my opinion, of coarse. But doing a random prize giveaway is cool and all, but not a way to get accurate, complete, honest testing done on your equipment.

Haha. Im interested to see how they do, but having the cobs all in the middle on some of them seems like not a great layout to me, way intense hot spot. Think your amares are probably going to be a bit ahead in that game. But you never know I guess.Just so happens I'm running 3 Amare's and I think a side by side would be fun. Like what we posted , our small led do a good job , if one small one do good , then the bigger one will be for sure .That's me. My normal grow gives me around 1 pound a plant. if it's Amare you are hoping to replicate them you're in luck there to as well as another COB light surrounded by 5 watt diodes. Hydroponics Hut. Plus I own a SunCloak vertical led.
Like I said though. Don't put anything in my hands unless it's big enough to grow a pound. So no COB-2's. You'd probobly want to consider a COB-6 if you want to impress potential consumers. LMK, I will submit a live/real-time, unbiased review. I am thinking about getting an all white COB light too to run in a comparison.
Problem is, I don't want to be stuck with it if it yeilds me far less then my Amare & I doubt any company here will accept my return after the show. Bummer really as many really would like to see the difference.
The led chips are the same , and if same power , their performance won't be too different . If we want to comparation growing side by side , we prefer the same power or close power .So many people talk down on your light but I fully believe it can do wonders. I honestly think it'd work JUST as well as an Amare. HYBRIDWAY and his minions would beg to differ I'm sure. But I truly think it would blow everyone away.
what do you mean a loan-a-light for a journal ? Most of people want to be chosen to test our led light , but in order to be fair , that's why we plan to run 1 give away . Random is not the best option . Yeah , of course we want a professional grower who can do honest growing and share with the people .I think it's a little foolish but they want to give away a light at random. 2-3 cob unit instead of giving it to a reputable grower who will indeed to a journal. Even if they do a loan-a-light for a journal I'd be happy. Shit I'll even pay to ship it back. I always wonder why some people lack such basic business skills.
Big bold letters on rollitup.org.
LIVE GROW JOURNAL WITH THE ECOSUNLIGHT!!
Showing real results from an actual member here on the same forum. Not a friend, a paid grower or a employee. Real results to help increase sales and prove they have what it takes
we are thinking to do both , one for professional grower , one for comp .He mentioned it earlier.
That's a good plan.we are thinking to do both , one for professional grower , one for comp .
some like DIY and some don't like . it dependsBut most aren't willing to DIY. It takes time to build, research, find parts at the cheapest prices. im more than happy to pay someone to do this.

I think there is a lot more to it then matching components. Your lights are a couple bucks cheaper but also lack in ways. If you want people to believe in your lights I'd be doing backflips to get these to the public. Also an advertising write off.The led chips are the same , and if same power , their performance won't be too different . Ya if they gave me one, I'd use it exclusively for the journal.I think @Airwalker16 should get a light. He's been advocating these guys & is in need of a panel in the center of his DIY.
I think one of these would be great for you to enhance you're 8 COB white DIY. More whites would balance a factory ECO nicely I think.
Of course you'd need to do a grow separately for Eco, but at least we'd get to see how these lights work on their own using their factory spectrum. Plus one of their smaller lights would be perfect for you after your done for the center, replacing the GoGreen. That is if you're happy w/ it.
We use the same led source and we even offer more led brands . By the way , we compare the actual power of the one you have , we have 100W more than the model you have and they have one UV tube . The cost is not just a couple bucks cheaper .I think there is a lot more to it then matching components. Your lights are a couple bucks cheaper but also lack in ways. I think I'll move on. Saving money was never a strong suite of mine. I like fancy shit and that usually cost more not less.
By the way , the shipping cost is also more than their shipping to you . Our shipping is higher than shipping from them , the actual power is more . That's not just a couple bucks cheaper . when we buy things , good price and good quality is the first choice .I think there is a lot more to it then matching components.
