Nice plan! I look forward to seeing your progress.@ttystikk and just for you I will be doing a couple vertical screens. These OGs have another month before they will start to flower. I finally got some 5000K 80cri COBs to see how much better they can veg. I have 2 COBs on an HBG240. When these are ready to go into the flower room, I will run the 3200K 95+cri over the top for 2 weeks to get them as tall as I can, before I move the lights to shine in at a 45* angle. I am to lazy to look thru your thread ttystikk, but how many watts are you using per panel? I think these are Boss OGs, not positive.

I'm running 900W/24sq ft = 37.5W/sq ft, yep, and it's damn near too much!@ttystikk The OG for the next run are already 27" tall with more than 3 weeks to go. I am hoping to use as much of my 9' ceiling as I can. You are at 37.5 watts per square foot, I think I will be at or below 30 watts. I will have a better idea after they are in there.
Is it just me or are those flipchips supporting bigger girls than 3590's?Day 32 Cleaned a 5 gallon bucket full of leaves and finally got the last one caged. Still a bit to early to tell with is doing better than another. Refresher- about 2100 watts and 6 Green Cracks in 5 gallon pots of coco.

In my case, I'm running a lot of smaller chips, but I'm running into light shock problems. I don't think it's the size of the chip per se, I think it's about the total intensity delivered to the canopy. Is it just me or are those flipchips supporting bigger girls than 3590's?
What type of light shock problems? In my case, I'm running a lot of smaller chips, but I'm running into light shock problems. I don't think it's the size of the chip per se, I think it's about the total intensity delivered to the canopy.
Like too damn much right at the beginning of the bloom cycle. That or it's not enough light in prebloom veg. Plants stall, turn colors, drop fan leaves. Then they recover and produce, but it's never what it should be.What type of light shock problems?
Are you changing light sources from veg to bloom?Like too damn much right at the beginning of the bloom cycle. That or it's not enough light in prebloom veg. Plants stall, turn colors, drop fan leaves. Then they recover and produce, but it's never what it should be.
They go from only 200W of 315W CMH lights per trellis in veg to 900W of COB LED per trellis panel. I'm thinking it's a pretty drastic change for them, one I should perhaps try to soften.it shouldnt matter,i run about 25w per sq ft in veg(t5) and stick em right under gavitas in bloom @ about 65w per sq ft and the plants love it.but i dont change a bunch of other shit when i flip my plants, they get the same feed and amount of water for the first week.theres something else goin on there @ttystikk .maybe your cooking them because the cobs are too close to the plants?or a big change in feeds
When I tried going from Hortilux Blue 600W MH to a 250W Led panel I got thisThey go from only 200W of 315W CMH lights per trellis in veg to 900W of COB LED per trellis panel. I'm thinking it's a pretty drastic change for them, one I should perhaps try to soften.
Nutes remain the same, EC climbs but not drastically. Environmental changes are mild, the COB LED rack is actually cooler than veg.
Adding more 315's in prebloom veg should help, as would leaving some of the modules off or setting up the dimming circuits and running the units at low power for a few days.
I can't think of what else it might be.
Wow, wtf is that? A plastic leaf??? 250W with how many cobs? 5 @ 50W's ec?When I tried going from Hortilux Blue 600W MH to a 250W Led panel I got this
