If Sig Sauer MCX or the Sig Sauer MPX ( which I own) is chambered in 5.56 (.223) it is an AR-15. That is the platform that fires 5.56 (.223)

Sig does make the MPX chambered in 9mm/357, in which case it is not an AR-15.
except Sig used the gas piston design from the AK in the MCX

If you want to talk about this i would love to carry it to pm.

To answer briefly, Jesus Christ is the whole basis of christianity. Without him it is just the old testament and Judaism.

So his words guide christianity. In the bible he speaks very clearly that we are not to judge others. He stopped people from stoning a prostitute. He said, he who is without sin cast the first stone.
More cherry picking.

Matthew 10:34: "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword."

Luke 22:36: "He said to them, “But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. It is written: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors’; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment.”

Plus, according to nearly all denominations of Christianity, Jesus and the Father are one, the whole Holy Trinity are aspects of the same being. Jesus is both fully human and fully divine, and thus "In traditional Christianity, Jesus is the Incarnate second person of the Trinity. He is divine, co-equal with the Father. As such, Jesus in the New Testament cannot hold a respectful disagreement with Yahweh of the Old Testament."

Jesus himself even emphasizes that the laws set out in the Old Testament (like Deuteronomy 13 which commands you to stone your own family to death if they tempt you with foreign gods) are still valid and should be followed: Matthew 5:17: "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them 18: For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19: Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus was also PRACTICED violence. John 2:13: "The Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple he found those who were selling oxen and sheep and pigeons, and the money-changers sitting there. And making a whip of cords, he drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and oxen. And he poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables. And he told those who sold the pigeons,“Take these things away; do not make my Father's house a house of trade.”

Your cherry picking of only the passages and laws that you support will certainly earn you the title of "least in the kingdom of heaven" (if you make it to heaven, which is doubtful if you have ever worn clothes woven of two different fabrics [Leviticus 19:19]) because you cannot pick and choose which of God's laws to follow. He has not left you that option.

An AR or AK can use either DI or GP and still be an AR or AK.

Sig makes amazing firearms. And their silencers are pretty fucking slick too. I own mostly AAC suppressors but when I go on a spending spree again, I will likely buy some Sig suppressors.

The Sig elite 45 tactical is one of my favorite guns. It honestly shoots better than my Dan Wesson 45. And that gun is hand made. (Though not the same quality as a Nighthawk)

Let's be clear. A civilian AR-15 can have selective fire if the operator owns a legally registered Auto Sear with an M-16 firing group.
Well yes. As I have stated in this thread full auto has never been illegal.

Even semi auto ar's still have a full auto bolt carrier group. The sear is different as you say and some machining is a little different.

Let be even more clear. Ar 15's that have select fire are owned by ffls that have a license to build them.

For anyone to own a true full auto that you can buy it has to be made before 1986 and registered with the atf.

And yet, per capita, Idaho is more violent than Illinois, New York and California combined.

Idaho has a gun violence rate of 14.1 per 100,000. That ranks like 12th worst among all 50 states.

So there's that.
i could buy a big house and a ton of land in idaho for dirt cheap.

can't do that in california and new york and illinois. because they are actually desirable places in which to live.

so there's that too.

The problem I have with the quote from Chief John Mina, who I can only assume knows a fair amount about firearms, is that he is misinformed or worse, misinforming.

The gun used in the Orlando massacre, and the one pictured IS an AR-15 platform rifle. It is not an AR-15 "type" assault rifle.

AR does not stand for Assault Rifle. It stands for Armalite Rifle. As that was the company who first manufactured that platform.

If that ISIS fella walked into Pulse and shot everyone with an AR-10 chambered in 308, he would have been shooting from an Armalite-10 platform as opposed to an AR-15 (Armalite-15) platform, the upper receiver and bolt are different products and are not interchangeable.

An assault rifle is classified as any weapon that fires more than one round on a single trigger pull. A semi-automatic rifle requires more than one trigger pull to fire more than one round.

That being said, I don't think those types of guns should be banned. It should just be harder to obtain.

Clearly the FBI is completely at fault here, along with the ATF.
I agree whole heartedly.

Atf and FBI are at fault.

This guy was a trained shooter. No matter the weapon he would've done a lot of killing.

They do make a 9mm upper for the ar. They make a lot of calibers for the newer multi caliber ar lower receivers.

And as all Christians have the reputation for violence Jesus beheaded every one of those sorry bastards and set some on fire in cages.

The Koran told me so. Shit, got the wrong scripture again!

Doesn't sound any worse than what your God did to Job, or what he did to Sodom and Gomorrah, or any of the things He says He will do in Revelation. Also seems remarkably similar to things the Inquisition and the other institutions of the Church have done throughout the years. Looks like you had the right scripture after all.

yes, they make a 9mm for an AR-15 lower receiver that requires modification. At which point it is not longer an AR-15.

Yes, the AR-15 is a multi-caliber platform. I have 3 different calibers in AR-15 platform, my favorite being 300 blackout.

Sort of.

Full Auto rifles require full auto bolts. Not all bolts can be used in full auto sear rifles.

M-16 and Auto Sear are NFA items, you don't need an FFL to obtain them. You just need about $14,000 and a $200 tax stamp.

FFL can obtain NFA items without the huge price tag, because they can obtain recently (post ban) made parts for much less money.

SOT can manufacture NFA items. That's the way to go. For $800 a year you can make you own machine guns and silencers.
