I thought it was odd that a thread about terrorism at a gay club turned in to a discussion on how to modify rifles and other people talking about the virtues of Islam and how Christians are the terrorists.

Remember, none of the Amendments were in the original constitution. The first amendments didn't happen until 1789. What has been done can easily be undone. We had an amendment making drinking illegal, I don't see you guys fighting the good teetotaler fight. So lets just repeal the 2nd amendment, and then no one has this bullshit argument. No more right to bare arms for you (And that includes tank tops, no one wants to see all that flab and hair)

if someone is seriously dedicated to going through with that crazy shit.. they'd find a way to do that terrible shit with or without a gun.
look at car deaths.. how many people die every year from getting hit by other drivers. should we ban cars?
look how many registered gun owners committed crime? i bet theres a stat somewhere.. i bet its pretty low.
its not what was used in the crime that matters to me.. its the person that used it. they are obviously just fucked in the head.. if he didnt have a gun he probably would of probably lit the place on fire or just threw a bomb in there

More people drive than own guns, what is the highest number of deaths one person in a car has intentionally caused? A car does not give you the same ability to effortlessly wipe large numbers of people off the earth because you're having a bad day. And yes, I think that humans driving cars should eventually be banned in favor of self driven cars which are much much safer.

I was poking at one of our resident fundamentalist Christian to make a point. People who worship in Islam say almost exactly what you do, not exactly but the same intent as you. There are extremists in all religions including Judaism and the many others such as the Hindu and Sikh for example. They stir the shit up while most would rather get along and live. This idea that 1.5 billion raving mad Muslims are plotting the death of Christians everywhere is nuts.

What I hear from people like Trump, Flaming P, spiderass, shorline and Nitro is fear and bigotry, not religious differences.
