Hey Robinsamsung 561 strips were around $24 when i got them. Also the lm/w was not as impressive. Price and efficiency wise cobs seem more attractive.
The new samsung strip is more efficient and $20, the one one is now $14 here
I used 2.079" from heatsink USA. 6.080" 4.850" seem good too. With strips dont have to worry about base plate thickness.
I am trying to use these 9W strips for under canopy lighting.

That looks like a nice powerful strip.Hey Robin
Could a 48 volt meanwell 600h drive the Samsung L09 66 watt strips? The current is 1380 milliamps. How many could it run?
Good find, for some reason I missed the influx series. They are available for order at Verical as well. What I like about them is that they have shorter length available as well (280mm ~ 11")Hey Robin

Damn that shit looks so cool! It's like a little light beam inside the lens!
The new SST 140 is pre drilled for Khatod Sio3 OpticsIs that a mounting hole on the side?
Hi RobinThe new SST 140 is pre drilled for Khatod Sio3 Optics
The M4 on top can be used for mounting. But if you use Khatod Sio3 Optics then all 4 get used by holder. Then you can mount frame on holder or you can use the side M4 positions on 2 opposite ends.
Khatod Sio3 Optics works for Bridgelux Vero 29.
For 3590 I have ordered some low profile holders that should be available end of this month.

Certainly not with ideal Chip Lok holders, I'm sure.Hi Robin
Looking at the Khatod spec these are for LES of 23mm does the 3590 work under this?
Cheers
Mark
even with a flat holder I am not sure this optic will pick up the large LES on the 3590Certainly not with ideal Chip Lok holders, I'm sure.
Well You Can If You Want. Robins Currently Working On A Solution So We Can Use These Lens With The Cxb Along With The Citizen CobsThe 3590 just barely fits huh. You'd have to solder wires straight to it and use thermal Glue/Epoxy. But the lens itself almost would hold it down so I wonder if just grease would even work?
It DoesLooks to me like the LES fits almost PERFECTLY under the lens part.
I think it looks like the whole of the LES all fits under the concave part of the lens.Im not saying it does not physically fit, Im saying the optical pickup is for a smaller LES, making the performance a possible issue, I sell Khatod so not having a go at anyone, I would like to see it work as I would like to add to our range, just concerned the outer part of the LES is not being collected under the lens properly, anyone done any par numbers with 3590?
Cheers
Mark
